The 2010 Batch of proudly announces the appointment of its new committee for the term 2026–27.

This dedicated team will lead the Old Boys’ Association initiatives, strengthen alumni bonds, support the growth of our beloved alma mater, and uphold the values and traditions that unite us as proud Nalandians. We look forward to an inspiring and impactful journey ahead.

The Annual General Meeting, which was held on 03rd April 2026, we as the committee of the NALANDA JUNIOR OLD BOYS ASSOCIATION GROUP OF 2010 for the term of 2024/2025, formally announced that we had successfully concluded our office period. This term marks a significant year in the history of NJOBA Group of 2010 with The school celebrating the 100 year anniversary and the batch it self celebrated the 15 years of leaving the school. We believed that this should celebrate with great manner while gaining remarkable financial benefits as well. “A NIGHT OF ELEGANCE” was organised to gather Nalandians to one place and celebrate the landmark with great passion. While doing so we’ve managed to come up with a profit of more than a million rupees and donated to our Alma matter towards Nalanda Centenary Project.

The collective effort of the committee was an important fact for smooth operation, and following projects were successfully completed within said term.

(Value of Raised Funds: Rs.1121194.00/-)

- DONATIONS -
* Nalanda Centenary project (Donation of Rs.10,00,000.00/- cash)
* Volleyball Donation(Value of the Donation: Rs.110,000.00/-)
* Joining Nalanda Walk with a double decor bus for celebrating 100 years join hands with 2009 batch .
* NJOBA committee members collected and donated Rs.40000/ cash to our late brother Anushka Iduranga’s funeral.

Proud moment at the Nalanda College 100th Anniversary Celebration as the opening ceremony of Nalanda Innovation Center, established under phase 1 of Nalanda Centenary project. As the 2010 Batch we have contributed LKR 1 Million towards the Nalanda Centenary Project, honoring a century of excellence and shaping the future of Nalanda.

This generous contribution was received by Mr. Iran Champika Silva, the principal of Nalanda College Colombo along with Several committee members of NJOBA 2010 group.

This donation marks a significant contribution towards the success of the Nalanda Centenary project phase 2 “Nalanda Sports Complex” which will show case the unity and growth of the institute.

Life is a collection of unforgettable moments, and this event was truly one of them. “A Night of Elegance”the batch party of Nalanda College group of 2010 was successfully held on the 26th of July 2025 at The Courtyard by Marriott Colombo. The evening was filled with vibrant music, lively entertainment, and cherished reunions. Here’s a brief recap of the memorable night.

The evening was a vibrant and stylish celebration filled with camaraderie among batch mates and their partners, all set to the lively of the Grace Dance Band.🔥🔥
