We are pleased to share the appointment of Mrs. Dilini Benjamin as Co-Vice Principal of Methodist College.
A proud Old Girl, she has extensive experience in education and leadership, and a strong sense of dedication to our Alma Mater.
She holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Finance from the University of Sri Jayawardenapura and a Postgraduate Diploma in Education from the University of Colombo, and currently serves as the Advanced Level Sectional Head for the Arts Stream.

From tiny footsteps to big achievements, our Primary School Sports Meet (for Grades 1,2 and 3) was filled with excitement and smiles all around. We were honoured by the presence of Ms. Roshenka Philip (former Games Captain) at this 160 Milestone Celebration event.

Today we celebrate the creative achievements of Uvini Atukorala (Batch of 1993) and Sajla Anees (Batch of 2014), who have been longlisted for the 33rd Annual Gratiaen Prize—Sri Lanka’s most prestigious literary award for creative writing in English.
We wish them all the very best and hope they will follow in the footsteps of distinguished past pupils such as Ruwanthie de Chickera and Prashani Rambukwella, who have previously won this coveted honour. We’re rooting for you!

April 2nd is World Autism Awareness Day. We marked this event with a special assembly to build understanding and empathy.
Through a series of slides and infographics, our students explored the importance of acceptance and inclusion.
