In the wake of Cyclone Ditwah last year, Dijital Team is proud to support the rebuilding of Napawala Dudley Senanayake Maha Vidyalaya in Sri Lanka’s Kegalle District.

By restoring a safe and supportive learning environment, we’re investing in education, resilience, and the future of the community.

Our heartfelt thanks to the teachers, parents, volunteers, and local partners who helped turn recovery into rebuilding. Together, we create impact beyond the workplace.

After severe flooding damaged most of its infrastructure, Napawala Dadly Senanayake Maha Vidyalaya in Kegalle faced a heartbreaking disruption to the education of 137 students.

This video documents the successful restoration efforts led by the International Movement for Community Development (IMCD) — made possible through the full funding and support of the Dijital Team.

🏫 What we achieved together:
Refurbishment of damaged school buildings
Restoration of the children’s play area
Provision of essential science, music, and sports equipment
Installation of classroom whiteboards, lighting, and fans

The project brought safety, dignity, and inspiration back to the school — turning a moment of crisis into a lasting impact.

As we count down to MDS XV at Napawala Dadly Senanayake Maha Vidyalaya, Avissawella, we take a moment to reflect on an incredible journey over the past two months.
From our initial need assessment visit to today, we have together transformed flood-affected and damaged classrooms and buildings into bright, colorful, and child-friendly learning spaces.
✔️ Damaged science laboratory equipment was replaced
✔️ Previously unavailable lab equipment was newly supplied
✔️ The children’s play area was repaired and renovated
✔️ Essential electrical items and sports equipment were provided
This entire project was made possible through the generous funding and unwavering support of the Dijital Team — thank you for your truly invaluable contribution. 🙏

We are thrilled to announce the progress of My Dream School XV, a shining example of hope, resilience, and community spirit. With the complete sponsorship from Dijital Teams, this initiative is restoring a flood-affected Dadly Senanayake school in Napawala. Avissawella - bringing it back to life with the care and dedication it deserves.

From the principal to teachers, parents, and even the students themselves, everyone is volunteering with passion and purpose. Together, they are transforming the school environment—physically and emotionally—proving that when a community unites, dreams truly come alive.

🎒🏫 We’re Officially Launching My Dream School XV! 🌈✨
This time, we are supporting Dadly Senanayake Vidyalaya, Napawala, Avissawella—a school that was severely affected by the recent floods. Most of its classrooms, including the science laboratory, were flooded. Thanks to the dedicated efforts of local volunteers, parents, students, and teachers, the initial cleanup has already been successfully completed. Now, through the My Dream School initiative, we are stepping in to assist with the some of the remaining renovation and restoration work.
💛 We are honored to have Dijital Teams Pvt Ltd as the sponsor of this project. On behalf of the school and all of us at IMCD, we extend our heartfelt gratitude for their generosity and partnership.
🔨 Our support will include:
• Minor repairs and colour washing of school buildings
• Renovation of the kids’ play area
• Provision of essential science lab equipment
• Donation of music and sports gear
• Special Back2Home packages for selected families of the most affected students

Today, we completed our sixth Back2Home donation – a small step toward rebuilding lives with dignity.

📍 Location: Weeramal Mawatha, Kohilawatta
👨‍👩‍👧‍👦 Beneficiaries: A family with 11 individuals, including 4 children
🛏️ Items Donated:
• Mattresses (6” & 5”)
• Wardrobes
• Rice Cooker
