📣Maintain an effective and interactive relationship with the students.
Today the purpose of the teacher is not just to deliver lectures but also the teacher takes on the role of organizing, managing, counseling, observing and evaluating and in order to be successful in his goals. Usually teacher is a person who is working in an educational institute and facilitates the students to achieve cognitive, sensory and behavioral aim and gains within the range determined by the educational system.
Traditionally teacher-student relationships were based on usual traditional thinking patterns that the teachers have the basic authority and know what is best for students; students were viewed as inactive participants of knowledge who always accept academic demands without questioning. Total power was in the hands of the teacher who makes one-sided judgments of student performance and decides which experiences will occur. Students were expected to function as an obedience model, remaining dependent on the teacher.
A globalised world reforms the ways that the relationships are conducted in a social group, and especially in an educational context. As a result, both teachers and students need to play more active roles to establish a more positive relationship. The relationship between teachers and students can occur a lasting impact on the development of a child. Teachers who have strong bonds with their students have been shown to be more effective in their teaching career. In addition to lower levels of behavioral issues, teachers with strong classroom bonds are also able to achieve higher levels of academic success among students.
To maintain an effective and interactive relationship a teacher has to use several techniques while engaging in the teaching process.

Don’t make comparisons. 👩🏫
Do not compare yourself to veteran teachers, other new teachers, or someone working down the hall. Although beginning teachers always look for ways to become more effective, ways to be stronger communicators, and ways to manage students and their behaviors, it is unrealistic to compare yourself to others. Strive for excellence, model the best that you see, but be yourself. ❤️
Have confidence in who you are and know that the classroom is a place for you to set goals and create successes for you and your students. Feel empowered to celebrate your individuality as a teacher, to try new things and make your classroom the place where everyone wants to be. ✨

HOW TO BE A BORING TEACHER
BY Luke Prodromou
Assume students know nothing ❌
Explain everything in full laborious detail. Do not assume the students have done any English before, or have heard of English grammar. Do not by any means draw on their experience of life, their knowledge of the world or other school subjects. Your students are a blank sheet of paper, or as Locke said, ‘tabula rasa’. You’re a full vessel, they are empty vessels. This explains why you may find them a bit noisy at times;the emptier your students are, the more noise they will make. This is known as having a discipline problem. It is nothing to be alarmed about. All boring teachers have one; so ensure you have stern disciplinary measures in reserve. Do not let yourself be deceived into indulging in permissive modern methods such as eliciting. Rest assured that in some teaching contexts eliciting in class is frowned upon as time-wasting and even immoral. When beginning a new listening or reading text, go straight into it. Do not shilly-shally around asking students what they might or might not know about the subject they are going to listen to or read. Do not procrastinate. Remember the English proverb: he or she who hesitated is lost. So get on with it.

How to be a boring teacher 🚨
Let students do nothing ❌
That’s right. Do all the work yourself.Take the register yourself. Explain whatyou did the previous lesson yourself.Read out the text from the course book yourself. Read out the comprehension questions from the book yourself.
Answer the questions yourself. Write the answers on the board yourself and then rub the board clean yourself. Just get the students to listen to your lovely voice, droning on, showing them how clever you are. After all, it is not for nothing that you went to university.Do not keep your light under a bushel.Let them see how much you know.

Tech Tips for teachers 💡
Take Risks
The magic happens outside of your comfort zone. Don’t be afraid to step out and try new things in the classroom. Model risk-taking in your classroom. Let your students know when you fail or make a mistake so that they understand that is okay. Find ways to push students out of their comfort zones, give them new ideas, perspectives, and ways to approach a problem that can help them see the value in failing forward. Taking a risk during the learning process is a gamble, but one that can pay off big time. The difference is that a risk in the classroom may not guarantee success, but if truly guided with purpose toward the learning goals can garner valuable learning along the way.

TECH TIPS 💡
Shift Your Mindset
I hear this phrase all the time, “I’m just not good with technology?” Make up your mind to be positive. The classroom is full of obstacles; technology is no different. Maybe you aren’t as quick to learn with technology as your peers, but never let that become an excuse. If your mind is holding you back, you have some internal work to do. Take the time to reflect on your current mindset and approach technology with a positive and flexible attitude.

What makes a good teacher? 📣
Good teachers understand how amazing and special their job is, no matter how tiring or challenging it may be, at times. Good teachers have passion and a little bit of magic about them. That is why people remember them. Will those who you teach remember you? If they do, what will they remember? 🌎
Sometimes, it is the small things that make a difference: the smile in a morning, the fun activities, the sharing of a special book or the fact that there was someone to talk to when they most needed it. Good teachers are all different but they each put their heart and soul into this, the most special of jobs.📚
