Whether it’s a baptism, wedding, vacation, or any other daily event, photos are an excellent way to immortalize any memory, more or less pleasant. “I want to see you smiling,” exclaims every photographer, making their subjects appear happy regardless of their mood.

With a little effort, a photographer will obtain an amazing photo for their personal collection – but if they are truly lucky, they will capture a frame that everyone will talk about for days on end.

Exactly what happened in the case of this little girl, when an ordinary day with family turned her into a celebrity alongside her equine friend.

According to Time Magazine, the photograph was initially uploaded to the Reddit platform – and it caused a sensation. This girl was enjoying a beautiful day in a festive setting, spending time with her family alongside the Clydesdale horses that galloped as if ready for a parade.

She probably spent some time around these majestic creatures, a little afraid to get closer. When she gathered her courage, the girl stood in front of this impressive stallion, waiting for the camera flash.

“Smile,” her father said from behind the camera. It was the moment when the camera shutter clicked, and the scene was immortalized…

Certainly, the result was not exactly what the father and the rest of the family were expecting! When they reviewed the photo, the father couldn’t believe what a wonderful scene had been captured.

The Clydesdale breed originates from Scotland, and those that belong to it are heavy draft horses with a strong personality, but also exceptionally intelligent – a feature that is quite evident, in case this stallion ended up grinning on command!

After being posted online, this photo went viral, even being considered one of the best photos of 2016 by the BuzzFeed website – and we are sure that the girl’s family enjoys this image as much as we do!

Jack was about to fly home from New York to London when he met Violet at the gate and became her friend. Violet, an 88-year-old former nurse, was flying home after visiting her daughter, and she had never been able to afford an expensive first-class ticket. It was a dream of hers to do that someday. When it was time to board, Jack walked with Violet onto the plane, insisted that she take his first-class seat, and then went to the very back of the plane next to the restrooms, and sat in hers.

Stewardess Leah Amy found out about the switch and reported the story (these photos are hers), saying, "Jack never said a word or asked for anything. Of all the people I've met on hundreds of flights, including soccer players, supermodels, and movie stars, these two have been my favorite passengers."

FIREFIGHTERS’ LIVES MATTER!

My brother is my hero. He’s in terrible pain with an infection in his stomach. We are waiting for test results to see if his pancreatic cancer has now gone into his stomach. It breaks my heart that he was treated so poorly when the ambulance brought him into the ER last night and forced to lay on the ground for 15 hours before finally giving him a bed. Not how I would treat a retired firefighter/paramedic with 30 years experience of saving lives in his community. His spirit is now broken and my heart aches for him and his wife. Please pray for him. Thank you

PLEASE LET’S PRAY FOR THIS INNOCENT BABY 🙏🏻😢🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻

I am at a loss for words. I woke up this morning fully expecting that today would be another busy, but completely normal day. 6 month old baby Charlotte had an appointment with an ophthalmologist this morning to determine what the cause of her crossed eyes is, an appointment that we scheduled two months ago. I got to the appointment with all three of my daughters in tow. After the doctor analyzed her eyes she sent us up to Primary Children’s hospital in Salt Lake City to get an ultrasound on her eyes because she saw some irregularities that she wanted to have checked out. I drove the half hour to get there, and Stuart left work early to meet me at the hospital and walked in right as the ultrasound was underway. I held baby Charlotte to me while turned away from the screen to allow the doctor to get the image. Stuart looked at the screen and said “whoa, that’s big”. And my heart dropped. They discovered a cancerous tumor behind her left eye and partially into her right eye called Retinoblastoma that is causing her not to be able to straighten her eyes out. I didn’t know what to think. A million questions and emotions poured through me as I tried to get a mental handle on the situation. I’m still trying. I’m still in shock. I still don’t know what to do or what to think. They discussed a need for an MRI to confirm the diagnosis and determine the full scope of the cancer and if it has spread to other parts of her little body. They discussed treatment options which include chemotherapy and surgery.
They explained to us that the team of experts for this particular condition is located in Phoenix and we will need to get there as quickly as possible to begin treatment. I still don’t feel like I have a grasp on the situation, and I don’t know what the short term and long term looks like for Charlotte, Stuart, my family or for myself. But I do know that the most important favor that I can ask from any of you is to send a sincere prayer to our Father in Heaven.
