සතුට පරම ධනයයි.....

හෙද සේවයේ සහ සුවපත්භාවයේ අගය ධම්මපදයේ එන මෙම උතුම් ගාථා රත්නයෙන් මනාව පැහැදිලි වේ....

ලොව්තුරු බුදු පියාණන් වහන්සේගේ තෙමඟුල සිහිපත් කෙරෙන මෙම උදාර වෙසක් සමයේ, උන්වහන්සේ දේශනා කොට වදාළ අසිරිමත් මෛත්‍රිය සහ කරුණාව පිළිබඳ ගුණය අපගේ සිත්වලට වඩාත් සමීප වේ. උතුම් වූ හෙද වෘත්තියේ නියැලි සිටින අප සැමට, මෙම උදාර ගුණාංග හුදෙක් සංකල්ප පමණක් නොව, අපගේ සායනික සත්කාරයන්හි සහ වෘත්තීය අධ්‍යාපනයේ ජීවය හා පදනමයි.

රෝගී පීඩිත ජනතාව වෙනුවෙන් දිවා රාත්‍රී නොබලා කැපවී සේවය කරන අපගේ ගෞරවනීය හෙද නිලධාරීනි... මානව සංවේදීතාවයෙන් සහ ඉහළ වෘත්තීය නිපුනතාවයෙන් යුතුව ඔබ ඉටුකරන සේවය සෞඛ්‍ය ක්ෂේත්‍රයේ ප්‍රගතියට මෙන්ම සමස්ත සමාජයේම යහපැවැත්මට ඉමහත් ශක්තියකි. ඔබ සැමගේ උදාර කැපවීමට අපගේ ප්‍රණාමය.....

Behind every determined nurse, there is a story that changed everything. 🩺❤️

Maybe it was a patient’s grateful smile, a quiet moment in a hospital corridor, or the realization that your hands had the power to calm a stranger's fear.

We all have that one "moment" where we stopped being just a student or a professional and realized this was our true calling.
