✨ *A historic day at the Java Institute Gampaha Branch!* ✨

Take a look at these amazing moments from the very first **JIAT FOSS Community Meetup**! 📸🔥

Why did we launch the JIAT FOSS Community? Because we want our students to be more than just learners—we want them to be global contributors! This community is a dedicated space for our students to dive into Free and Open Source Software (FOSS), build their professional portfolios, and connect with the tech industry before they even graduate.

Our inaugural meetup was bursting with energy! From students making their very first live GitHub contributions and learning the magic of version control, to AI lightning talks, fun Git quizzes, and networking sessions, it was a day dedicated to collaboration and growth. 🤝

We are incredibly proud of our students for spearheading this initiative and taking charge of their future careers. To the organizing team, the volunteers, and the academic staff who supported them—thank you for making this event a massive success!
