“Sinhala & Tamil New Year Celebration – 2026”

We successfully Celebrated the Sinhala & Tamil New Year at our VHE center with the participation of our students.

The event included traditional games, cultural activities, and joyful interactions among participants.

We are delighted to share glimpses from our recent Planetary Health Education (PHE) session held on 19th March 2026 at the VHE Centre, with the enthusiastic participation of 23 students.

Activity Focus: Healthy Soil, Healthy Plants
Activity Title: Soil Layers in a Jar

As part of this interactive session, students collected soil samples from their homes and gardens. By mixing the soil with water in a jar, they observed how different soil layers settle over time—an engaging way to understand soil composition.

The learning didn’t stop there! Students also planted saplings, gaining hands-on experience and a deeper appreciation of how healthy soil plays a vital role in plant growth and environmental sustainability.

It was truly inspiring to see the curiosity, teamwork, and excitement of our students as they explored and connected with nature.

We are delighted to share that 247 ESSP packs were recently distributed to the students of KM/TK/Mandanai Tamil Mixed School.

These packs contain essential learning materials to support students in their education and help them continue their studies with confidence.

🎉 Children’s Day Celebration at VHE Centre 🎉

On 01.10.2025, we celebrated International Children’s Day with 65 happy participants at our VHE Centre! 💫

The day was filled with fun and laughter through games like picking the chocolate, ball passing, and musical chairs. 🏃🍫🎶 After the games, our teachers shared with the children why we celebrate this special day — to promote children’s rights, raise awareness, and build a better future for them. 🌍✨

It was truly a joyful day dedicated to appreciating and celebrating children. 💕

✨ On 23.09.2025, our center had the pleasure of welcoming the Tuk Tuk Ride visitors!

🌸 Our students greeted them with a beautiful traditional dance and flower garlands, creating a heartfelt cultural welcome. The visitors toured each classroom, interacted with the students, and captured wonderful memories together.

It was a truly joyful experience, and our students were so delighted to be part of this special day 💐📸
