Principal’s Message

Agricultural workshop hosted to share knowledge on sustainable and resilient agricultural practices.

This was made possible through our CLGF and EU-funded project.

The lasagna bed is indeed a great way for people to enjoy planting since it is not labor-intensive, promotes organic farming, uses materials right in your environment, and is great for those who have no fertile soil or concreted yard but still want to enjoy farming.

Again, CLGF has forged partnerships beyond the classroom for more meaningful learning experiences.

We thank everyone who contributed to this learning experience, including our sister school, School of Agriculture Ms Alicide and students, Facilitators Mr. Wilson and Mr. Charlegmagne from SLAEF, Region 4 Agricultural officers Ms. Descrates and Mr. George, Desruisseaux Combined Ms St. Ville and students, parents, community members, our staff, and students.

The TVET School of Innovation and Technology observed 'World Food Day', KOUDMEN style.

The principal, teachers and students, as well as members of the community, engaged in a clean up and beautification exercise of the school grounds.

Our very own local Creole band entertained us with traditional songs throughout the day.

A variety of dishes from our local cuisine were prepared koudmen style and enjoyed by everyone present. It was truly a remarkably enjoyable experience.

Ministry of Education Statement

The Ministry of Education, Sustainable Development, Innovation, Science, Technology and Vocational Training wishes to inform the public that all schools across the island will remain closed today, Friday, October 10, 2025, due to the heavy rains experienced overnight and continuing into this morning associated with Tropical Storm Jerry.

This decision was made following consultation with the Saint Lucia Meteorological Services, and in the interest of ensuring the safety and well-being of all students, teachers, and staff.

The Ministry advises that students remain at home and engaged in safe, productive learning activities, and avoid venturing outdoors as there may be hazardous conditions such as flooding, debris, and unstable slopes in some areas.

We will continue to closely monitor the weather situation and provide updates as necessary through official channels.

The Ministry urges everyone to exercise caution and prioritise safety during this period.
