Concrete vibration is a must in concrete construction and it is a building code requirement for two reasons.
The first reason is that vibration of concrete prevent segregation. The second and the most important reason is that concrete when poured, it contains hundreds and even thousands of air bubbles that weaken the concrete. Vibration reduces that amount of air bubbles.
