Double Victory for the Business Connections Club!

We are excited to announce that the Business Connections Club has been honored with two major awards at this year’s UOB Awards Ceremony!

This year, our club earned:

The Impact Award: Awarded for our Professional Management, External Relations, and Exceptional Public Engagement. This honors our work in coordinating large-scale events with ambition and excellence.

The Community Service Award: Recognizing our successful collaborations with fellow clubs. This award celebrates our joint efforts to create positive change and engage with our community on a massive scale.

Finally, as a club, we were honored to present a token of appreciation to Mrs. Mira Jabbour, Senior Academic & Administrative Coordinator (FOBM) and Club Advisor, under the title:
“The Power That Transforms Ideas into Success.”

Her continuous support, guidance, and belief in student potential have played an important role in shaping this journey and its impact.

This is a proud moment for the Faculty of Business and Management.

✨ Business Expo 2026 was more than an event — it was a celebration of innovation, creativity, entrepreneurship, and the future of AI-driven business. ✨

📍 May 5, 2026

Organized by the Business Connections Club in collaboration with the Faculty of Business and Management at UOB, this year’s expo featured 62 student-led projects across three main tracks: Startup & Innovation, Marketing Excellence, and Strategic Creativity.

Students presented entrepreneurial ventures, marketing strategies, AI-driven concepts, and creative business solutions through interactive booths and live pitching sessions, connecting directly with visitors and industry professionals.

Projects were evaluated by an exceptional panel of judges and professionals including Dr. Saad Andary, Mr. Nasri Mouawad (BIAT), Mr. Ramzi Farah (Razor Capital), Ms. Hasmig Dantziguian Khoury, Mr. Fadi Mikati (Jadwa06), Ms. Elise Sfeir (Berytech), Ms. Lina Hallab (Hallab Engineering & LLWB), Ms. Christelle Hleyhel (INJAZ Lebanon), Dr. Hala Khayr, Dr. Rania Hawi, CMOS Media Group, Dr. Ghina Molaeb, Dr. Ata Assaf, Dr. Ziad Nehme, and Ms. Ghina Awad.

The expo provided students with the opportunity to connect academic learning with practical experience while encouraging collaboration, networking, and leadership.

🏆 The event concluded with an awards ceremony recognizing outstanding projects in each track and the Business Impact Award.

A sincere thank you to all visitors, partners, and sponsors for their trust and support. Special appreciation to MED SERG SOLUTIONS, BAYTNA CATERING, BIAT, SPINNEYS, DRIZZLE CATERING, Dr. Saad Andary, and LIBRAIRIE DU LIBAN for contributing to the success of this experience.

Special thanks to the Office of Student Affairs (OSA) for their continuous support and to the Music Club for their amazing media coverage and contribution to the atmosphere and energy of the expo.
