This expression can be confusing!

👉 Would you mind opening the window?

If you don’t mind, the natural answer is:

“No, I don’t.” Go ahead! ✅

If you do mind, say:
“Yes, I do.” Please don’t. ❌

💡 So remember: “No, I don’t” can actually mean YES, it’s fine by me!
