Lebanese Union Association VISION and HOPE

After the successive wars witnessed by Lebanon over the years, discord among the various components of society, destabilization and disillusion that struck the youth in Lebanon, and in order not to fall into decay and accept the status quo, the Lebanese Union Association has emerged (145/AD- 1992) to promote the establishment of a civilized country where all citizens can live in freedom, dignity,

respect for their differences, where all citizens can pursue a lifestyle consistent with democratic and human values embodying the principles of modernity, justice and equality. Adhering to the Culture of Life and Peace as opposed to the Culture of Death and Hatred, the Lebanese Union Association set itself the duty to work with youth to overcome the degradation and lay the grounds to a healthy future.

نواب لبنان "يعنّفون" المرأة بقانون غير معدّل

أقر المجلس النيابي اللبناني يوم أمس (1-4-2-14) قانون "حماية النساء من العنف الأسري" بعد إطلاق منظمة "كفى" الحقوقية الناشطة في الدفاع عن حقوق المرأة، إضافة الى ناشطين آخرين سلسلة من الحملات والإعتصامات. لكن القانون أقر من دون التعديلات التي طالبت بها "كفى"، التي سارعت إلى الدعوة إلى إعتصام جديد عصر اليوم (الاربعاء) إحتجاجاً.
وعبرت المسؤولة الإعلامية في جمعية "كفى" مايا عمار في اتصال هاتفي مع "الحياة" اللندنية عن "عدم رضى الجمعية عن هذه الخطوة"، موضحة ان المنظمة "لن ترضى بعدم اعتماد التعديلات التي تصر عليها"، واضافت أن "71 نائباً وعدونا بالدفاع عن التعديلات التي نريدها، والتي تخصص للنساء حماية أكبر، لكنهم تراجعوا جميعاً عن دعمه، فأقر القانون كما هو من دون أي تعديلات".
وتزامن إقرار القانون مع اعتصام عشرات الناشطين في ساحة الإسكوا في وسط بيروت اليوم، تأييدا له. وبدأ الإعتصام عند الساعة العاشرة والنصف صباحاً في ساحة رياض الصلح، قبل ان ينتقل إلى ساحة الإسكوا بطلب من القوى الأمنية.
وشارك منظمون من جمعية "كفى" في الجلسة النيابية لمتابعة النقاش داخل المجلس النيابي وللضغط على السياسيين الذين لم يساندوا مشروع القانون.
كما شاركت عائلات نساء قُتلن بأيدي أزواجهن، وبينهم شقيقة ضحية العنف الأسري الأخيرة رقية منذر. وسجل حضور لافت لجمعيات المجتمع المدني الأخرى المهتمة بقضايا المرأة وحقوق الإنسان وحق التعبير الحر مثل "جنسيتي حق لي ولأسرتي" وجمعية "مارش".
ويأتي هذا الضغط التي تمارسه "كفى"، بعد مقتل 30 إمراة جراء العنف الأسري خلال العام2013 ، وإمرأتين إثنين خلال الأشهر القليلة الأولى من 2014 واستكمالاً لتظاهرة 8 آذار (مارس) الماضي، التي انطلقت من أمام المتحف الوطني في بيروت ووصلت إلى قصر العدل وشارك فيها أكثر من 3 آلاف شخص.
وكان لبنان شهد خلال الاشهر الاخيرة سلسلة من جرائم العنف الأسري كان من ضحاياها رولا يعقوب في تموز (يوليو) الماضي التي قضت نتيجة الضرب المبرح، وكريستال أبو شقرا (30 عاماً) في شباط (فبراير) التي توفيت مسمومةً. كذلك قتلت منال عاصي التي ضربها زوجها حتى الموت امام اعين عائلتها. اما الضحية الاخيرة فكانت رقية منذر (27 عاما) التي قتلها زوجها بالرصاص وكانت حاملا.
وأعرب الناشطون على مواقع التواصل الإجتماعي عن إستيائهم من إقرار القانون من دون أي تعديلات، فكتبت الصحافية ديانا مقلد على صفحتها في موقع (فايسبوك) "هذا ليس انتصاراً. ما أقره مجلس النواب عار. أقر قانونا مشوها. شرعوا الحقوق الزوجية للرجل وشرعوا الإغتصاب الزوجي وعمموا القانون. تفاصيل عدة تم العبث بها. نواب الأمة يجب أن تخجلوا مما فعلتم".
وعلق الصحافي سليم اللوزي على القانون فوصفه بأنه "قانون العار"، كما كتبت إيليز شكور: "لا حماية للنساء في قانون مشوه".
وخلال دقائق قليلة من هذه الخطوة، دعت منظمة "كفى" إلى إعتصام جديد عند الساعة الخامسة من عصر اليوم للإعتراض على إقرار "قانون مشوه" كما وصفته الجمعية.
