the Atelier in Beirut provides weekly workshops of Visual Arts highly diverse and creative, for children aged 5 to 10. Classes are given by Amal Saade, visual artist, History of Art teacher, graduate of PUC- Rio University in Industrial Design and holder of a Master’s Degree from l’Ecole Nationale Supérieure des Beaux-Arts de Paris. ving: - An educational vision with an approach to Art History and - A creative dimension allowing the children to explore several artistic fields. Every month, a new theme is chosen and presented through slides and videos. A special highlight is given to Lebanese heritage. After theory comes practice, children are guided to create artworks using different tools, materials and experimenting many techniques. Through the thematic lens children can engage with art and art making in new ways, gaining confidence and the freedom to explore their own potential.
