Akid is probably one of the first Lebanese words you'll hear... and one of the most useful! ๐ฑ๐ง
In this reel, you learned that akid means "of course", but it can also be used as:
๐จ Ana akid = I'm sure.
๐ฉ Ana akide = I'm sure.
๐ฅ Ne7na akidin = We're sure.

You'll also hear met2akked / met2akkde / met2akkdin.
These are the active participle (ุงุณู
ุงููุงุนู) forms of the verb yet2akkad ูุชุฃููุฏ (to be sure / to make sure), and they also mean "sure" or "certain."
Examples:
โข Ana met2akked. (m.)
โข Ana met2akkde. (f.)
โข Ne7na met2akkdin. (pl.)
