International School - Al Koura The International School - Al Koura is a private K-12 educational institution Students are in enrolled in Kindergarten (as of age 3).

The International School Al – Koura was founded in 1986 to cater to the growing population of Lebanese families who wished to place their children in an international based schooling system. The idea of creating an international curriculum (leading to a High School Diploma) stemmed from the need to provide Lebanese students with foreign passports the same quality of education as that of students i

n the Lebanese program (leading to the Lebanese Baccalaureate Official Government exams). Formal schooling begins in Grade 1 as of six years of age and students graduate from Grade 12 (both programs) by the time they are 18.

With a lot of love and pride, the President of the EdTech Syndicate, Inv. Rabih Baalbaki, made four wonderful announcements. First, he surprised the recipients of patents for their award-winning invention, – now graduates of 2026 – by granting them an inventor title from IFIA. Second, Mr. Baalbaki announced that I.S. is embarking on an exciting new challenge: ISO 56001, the certifiable international standard for Innovation Management Systems (IMS). Third, Autodesk has decided to publish its first school case study following the success story at I.S. using Fusion360 and Tinkercad. Fourth, IET and Robogeex will collaborate on Digital Twin and AI inventions during the coming academic year. Thank you, Mr. and Interactive Education Technology (IET), for this generous gift and for always shining the light ahead toward a bright future for our students and school.

For an interdisciplinary project between Economics and Chemistry, Grade 11 HS students visited to explore how chemical processes in roasting and brewing affect coffee quality, then linked these to economic concepts such as production costs, pricing, and consumer demand, showing how science influences product value in real markets.
