A group, “Friends Without A Border” is organizing the LUANG PRABANG Half Marathon “LA PROCESSION” to help build a HOSPITAL for CHILDREN in this historical city. I support this cause and will help raise funds by running the 460 km distance from Vientiane (capital, Laos PDR) to Luang Prabang on October 8-11 and the Half Marathon on October 12, 2014. Please, help me raise $25 US Dollars (800 Baht / 200,000 Kip / P1,100 Pesos) for every kilometer of the 385km (5-day) run. UPDATE: I'm on my fourth day into my five day journey to build a hospital for children in Luang Prabang! I'm running from Vientiane to Luang Prabang and then will run in the Luang Prabang half marathon on Sunday, October 12th. Yesterday, I ran 80 km in 12 hours and 27 minutes. Today, I reached Phoukoun for a beautiful breakfast and am continuing on to complete 75 km.

UPDATE 8: Received the donation of PetroTrade for support vehicle Diesel supply for the 5-day Charity Run to Luang Prabang. Thanks Petrotrade! Then had a meeting with the "Team RUN LP" to discuss on the Press conference on Monday to create awareness of this event.
