Career Day was an exciting and meaningful experience for our Grade 4 and 5 students as well! 🌟

As part of this year’s activities, our senior students had the unique opportunity to step into the real world of work by visiting their parents’ workplaces. From offices and businesses to essential service industries, students gained firsthand insight into various careers and learned about the dedication, skills, and responsibilities that help keep our communities thriving.

A special thank you to all the parents who welcomed our students and shared their professional experiences. These valuable opportunities inspire our young learners to dream big, explore their interests, and begin thinking about the many possibilities that await them in the future.

Take a look at some of our students in action as they celebrated Career Day through real-world learning! πŸ‘©β€βš•οΈπŸ‘¨β€πŸ’ΌπŸ‘©β€πŸ«πŸ‘¨β€πŸ”§βœ¨

🌟 Career Day Adventures! 🌟

Today, our Kindergarten to Grade 3 students stepped out of the classroom and into the world of work! Dressed in their career outfits, they explored a variety of professions through visits to different establishments, including the fire station, hospital, music recording studio, car dealership, woodworking shop, and many more.

This exciting hands-on experience gave our young learners a glimpse into the many career paths available to them and inspired them to dream big about their futures. A huge thank you to all the businesses and professionals who welcomed us and shared their knowledge with our students.

The future is bright, and it starts with exploration! πŸš’πŸ₯πŸŽ΅πŸš—πŸ› οΈβœ¨

πŸ† We did it again!

We are proud to officially announce that our school has won the Child Abuse Awareness Video Competition hosted by Social Development.

Our Grade 6 students delivered strong performances as actors, while Ms. Spencer led the filming and editing of the video, bringing the entire vision together.

Special thanks to Mrs. Jennings who wrote this heartfelt script and our guidance counselor Mrs Henry-Jones for being apart of this video.

This achievement earned our school a trophy, a $200 gift certificate from Rite Way, and a fun day with a bouncy house for the students. πŸŽ‰

Back to back wins.

We would like to recognize past student and community-minded individual Mr. Cornel Penn for his thoughtful act of service.

Mr. Penn generously volunteered his time to clear the leaves from the playground, helping to create a cleaner and safer space for everyone.

Thank you, Mr. Penn. Your efforts are greatly appreciated. πŸ‘πŸΏπŸ‘πŸΏπŸ‘πŸΏ
