Lei Tai (擂臺)

It is a high fighting platform dating back to the dawn of Chinese history. It was in ancient times the platform where the best kung fu fighters from different regions of China fought their challenges, whether with weapons or empty hands, which sometimes reached death and sometimes as a means of exchanging fighting skills or settling disputes between different parties. Or to prove the superiority of one system over another until the matter has evolved over time by setting regulations and laws to organize competitions and tournaments between kung fu players that we see nowadays.

‎هي منصه قتال مرتفعه يعود تاريخها إلى فجر التاريخ الصيني ، كانت قديمًا هي المنصة التي يخوض فيها أفضل مقاتلي الكونغ فو تحدياتهم من مختلف مناطق الصين سواء بالاسلحه أو الأيدي الفارغة والتي كانت تصل أحيانًا حتى الموت وأحيانًا تكون كوسيلة لتبادل المهارات القتالية أو لتسوية النزاعات بين الأطراف المختلفه أو لإثبات تفوق نظام على نظام آخر حتى تطور الأمر مع مرور الوقت بأن وضع لها لوائح وقوانين لتنظيم المسابقات والبطولات بين لاعبين الكونغ فو والتي نراها في أيامنا هذه.

The Kuwait Wing Chun Committee is a committee emanating from the Kuwaiti Olympic Committee and it is the official representative of the art of Wing Chun in Kuwait, led by the founder and chairman of the Kuwait Wing Chun Committee Sifu Mohammad Al-Medlej, and it is the official and ideal place for lovers of Wing Chun to learn, train and represent the art in international tournament and camps

The art of Wing Chun, as it known as the “Ip Man” art, is a unique self defense system for close quarters combats it's fast effective and high efficiency system quick kicks both hands working in the same time and tight defence. Join us in the first official and accredited Wing Chun school in Kuwait and the Gulf and under the Olympic umbrella and an international organization Led and trained by Sifu Mohammed ed Al-Medlej.
