عيدكم مبارك علينا وعليكم.. 🩶
Abu Hurairah ابو ہریرہ رض once narrated:
I asked him, Why are you called Abu Hurairah? He replied, I used to graze my family’s sheep, and I had a little kitten with me. At night, I would place her safely upon a tree, and during the day I would carry her along and play with her. Because of this, people began calling me Abu Hurairah the father of the little cat.
It is also mentioned in some books of Seerah that one day, while he was carrying the kitten, Muhammad lovingly addressed him as “Abu Hurairah.” From that moment onward, he became famously known by this blessed title.

Allah, the Lord of Majesty, swore by several things in Surah Al-Fajr, and among them is “By the ten nights” (Walayālin ‘Ashr). The Messenger of Allah ﷺ explained that these ten nights refer to the first ten days of Dhul-Hijjah.
حضرت Abdullah ibn Abbas (رضي الله عنه) narrated that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said:
“There are no days in which righteous deeds are more beloved to Allah than these ten days (the first ten days of Dhul-Hijjah).”
The Companions (رضي الله عنهم) asked: “O Messenger of Allah ! Not even striving in the path of Allah (Jihad)?”
He ﷺ replied: “Not even Jihad in the path of Allah except for a person who goes out with his life and wealth and returns with neither of them.”
Meaning: a person who sacrifices everything for the sake of Allah and attains martyrdom only such a deed surpasses the virtues of worship in these blessed days.

Abdullah ibn Abbas narrates that when Moses (peace be upon him) left Egypt, he had no food with him.
During his journey, he survived by eating leaves and whatever he could find along the way.
When he reached Madyan, he helped two women by watering their flock, then sat under the shade of a tree. There, he made a heartfelt supplication to Allah one that Allah has mentioned in the Quran.
As a result of that sincere prayer, Allah resolved all of his difficulties and opened doors of ease for him.

And if Allah were to take mankind to task immediately for their ظلم (wrongdoing), He would not leave upon the earth a single living creature. But He grants them respite until an appointed time.
Then when their appointed time comes, they can neither delay it for a moment nor bring it forward.

You may be surprised to hear this, but covering the head is a Sunnah, and wearing a turban is also a Sunnah. However, wearing a specific type of cap is not considered Sunnah.
For example, in Egypt there is a particular style of cap, and similarly, in different Asian countries there are many different kinds of caps. If you go to Europe, you will see people wearing “P-caps” (baseball caps).
So, if someone wears any type of cap, that does not make the cap itself a Sunnah. The Sunnah is to cover the head. Whether you cover your head with a cap or with a piece of cloth, the purpose is fulfilled.
In Islamic dress, covering the head is regarded as respectful and dignified. In fact, clothing has great importance in the Shariah of the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ. Head covering is also included as part of modest dress. Islam does not prescribe one specific style of clothing; rather, it provides a general principle: clothing should properly cover the body and should also be decent and presentable.
