🇻🇳🤝 베트남 하노이국립대학교 외국어대학 방문, 국제교육 협력 논의

2026년 7월 20일, 베트남 하노이국립대학교 외국어대학 한국언어및한국문화학부의 통번역 전공 주임교수 NGUYEN THI THU VAN 교수님과 NEXTPATH 김학비 국제협력처장님께서 상지대학교를 방문하셨습니다.

이번 방문에서는 양 기관이 함께 추진할 수 있는 교환학생 프로그램, 베트남 유학생 유치 프로그램 등 국제교육 협력 방안에 대해 심도 있는 논의를 진행했습니다.

또한 외국인 유학생들이 생활하고 있는 기숙사를 직접 둘러보며 교육 및 생활 환경을 확인하였으며, 학술정보원장님의 따뜻한 환영과 함께 학술정보원을 방문하여 상지대학교의 교육 인프라를 살펴보는 시간도 가졌습니다.

이번 만남을 계기로 양 기관이 더욱 긴밀한 협력 관계를 구축하고, 한국과 베트남을 잇는 국제교육 교류를 확대하는 것은 물론, 글로벌 인재를 함께 양성하기 위한 다양한 협력 사업이 활발히 추진되기를 기대합니다. 🌏✨

🇻🇳🤝 Strengthening International Education Cooperation with Vietnam

On July 20, 2026, Professor Nguyen Thi Thu Van, Head of the Interpretation and Translation Program in the Faculty of Korean Language and Culture at Hanoi National University of Languages and International Studies, and Mr. Kim Hak-bi, Director of International Cooperation at NEXTPATH, visited Sangji University.

During the visit, the participants held productive discussions on expanding international education cooperation, including the development of student exchange programs and initiatives to recruit Vietnamese students to Sangji University.

The delegation also toured the international student dormitory to learn more about the living environment provided for our students. In addition, they visited the Center for Library and Information Service, where they received a warm welcome from the Director and explored the university's academic and learning facilities.

This visit marks another meaningful step toward strengthening the partnership between Korea and Vietnam. We look forward to expanding international educational exchange and developing a wide range of collaborative initiatives to nurture the next generation of global talent together. 🌏✨

🌿🎓 2026학년도 1학기, 마무리의 시간

어느덧 2026학년도 1학기가 종강을 앞두고 있습니다.

지난주 월요일(6월 1일), 우리 학부 및 대학원 외국인 유학생들이 한자리에 모여
한 학기를 돌아보는 시간을 가졌습니다.
다가오는 2학기 학사일정과 9월 비자 연장, 방학 중 TOPIK 시험 안내 등
꼭 필요한 정보들도 함께 공유했습니다.

이어 목요일(6월 4일)에는 국제교류처에서
한 학기 동안 국가별 리더로서 역할을 해준 학생들과
축제 기간 동안 부스 운영에 적극적으로 참여해준 학생들을 위해
작은 감사의 자리를 마련했습니다.

🍗 편안한 분위기 속에서 함께 식사를 하며
이번 학기는 어땠는지, 요즘 고민은 무엇인지,
그리고 다음 학기를 위한 계획과 간단한 진로 이야기를 나누는
뜻깊은 시간을 보냈습니다.

특히 학생들이 서로에 대한 소속감과 책임감을 느낄 수 있도록
진솔한 대화가 이어졌고,
비가 많이 내리던 목요일 저녁이었지만
이야기는 밤늦게까지 계속되었습니다. 🌧️

🌿🎓 Wrapping Up the 2026 Spring Semester

As the 2026 Spring semester comes to an end, we take a moment to look back on the journey we’ve shared.

Last Monday (June 1), our undergraduate and graduate international students gathered together to reflect on the semester.
Important updates were also shared, including the academic schedule for the upcoming semester, visa extension procedures for September, and TOPIK exam information during vacation.

On Thursday (June 4), the Office of International Affairs hosted a small appreciation gathering for student leaders of each country and those who actively contributed to running booths during the university festival.

🍗 In a relaxed and friendly atmosphere over a shared meal,
students talked about their experiences this semester, shared their current thoughts and concerns, and discussed plans for the next semester, along with brief career guidance.

It was a meaningful time that helped strengthen students’ sense of belonging and responsibility within the community.
Even though it was a rainy Thursday evening, the conversations continued late into the night. 🌧️

To all our international students at Sangji University,
thank you for your hard work this semester.

🌿🎎 2026학년도 1학기 외국인 유학생 문화체험 진행

5월 14일부터 15일까지, 상지대학교에서는 외국인 유학생들을 위한 문화체험 프로그램을 진행했습니다.

이번 문화체험은 "횡성회다지소리문화체험관"과 함께
‘뉴리티지(New-ritage)’를 주제로 한국의 전통을 새롭게 경험하는 시간으로 마련되었습니다.

특히 '회다지소리’는
죽은 이의 무덤을 단단하게 하기 위해 흙에 석회를 섞어 밟으며 부르던 전통 민요로,
강원도의 무형유산 제4호로 지정된 소중한 문화유산입니다.

유학생들은
🏺 도자기 체험을 통해 전통 공예를 직접 느끼고,
🍚 정성 가득한 솥밥을 함께 나누며 한국의 식문화를 체험했으며,
🎶 횡성회다지 공연을 감상하며 깊이 있는 전통 문화를 즐기는 시간을 가졌습니다.

이처럼 상지대학교는 매 학기 외국인 유학생들과 함께
즐겁고 의미 있는 추억을 만들기 위해 다양한 문화체험 프로그램을 운영하고 있습니다.

🌿🎎 2026 Spring Semester International Student Cultural Experience

From May 14 to 15, Sangji University hosted a cultural experience program for international students.

This program was held in collaboration with the "Hoengseong Hoedajisori Culture Experience Center",
under the theme of “New-ritage,” offering a fresh way to experience traditional Korean culture.

“Hoedajisori” is a traditional folk song sung while stamping down a mixture of soil and lime to solidify a grave.
It is designated as Gangwon-do’s Intangible Cultural Heritage No. 4, representing a meaningful part of Korea’s cultural legacy.

During the program, students:
🏺 experienced traditional pottery making,
🍚 enjoyed sotbap (Korean-style rice cooked in a pot), and
🎶 watched a live Hoedajisori performance, immersing themselves in authentic Korean traditions.

Sangji University continues to provide diverse cultural programs every semester, creating memorable experiences for international students.

Today and tomorrow, the Office of International Affairs is running a special booth with international students:

At this booth, students can enjoy a variety of fun activities that bring cultures together beyond borders:

🌍 Country quiz challenges

It’s a great opportunity for all Sangji students to experience different cultures in a fun and interactive way.

In particular, many students seem to have become completely hooked on the Korean traditional game Tuho—they just can’t get enough of it! 😄

지난 4월 7일, 상지대학교는 재단법인 박기범재단과 함께
2026년도 외국인 유학생 지원 위탁공모사업 협약식을 개최하였습니다.

이번 협약은 베트남 유학생들이 안정적인 환경에서 학업에 집중하고, 나아가 강원지역에 정착할 수 있는 인재로 성장할 수 있도록 지원하기 위해 마련되었습니다.

2026학년도 1학기에는
🇻🇳 베트남 유학생 10명에게 각 200만 원의 장학금이 지원되며,

단순한 경제적 지원을 넘어
유학생들이 한국 생활에서 겪을 수 있는 심리적 어려움을 함께 나누고 극복할 수 있도록
멘토링 프로그램과 커뮤니티 활동도 함께 운영될 예정입니다.

또한 지역사회와의 연계를 통해 다양한 문화 체험 기회를 제공하며,
유학생들이 한국 사회에 자연스럽게 적응하고 성장할 수 있도록 적극 지원하고 있습니다.

상지대학교는 앞으로도 외국인 유학생들이 학업과 생활 모두에서 안정적으로 정착할 수 있도록

🤝🌏 Sangji University–Park Gibum Foundation Sign Agreement to Support International Students

On April 7, Sangji University held a cooperation agreement ceremony with the Park Gibum Foundation for the 2026 International Student Support Program.

This partnership aims to help Vietnamese students focus on their studies in a stable environment and grow into talented individuals who can successfully settle in the Gangwon region.

For the Spring Semester of 2026,
🇻🇳 Vietnam 10 students will each receive a scholarship of KRW 2,000,000.

Beyond financial support, the program also provides mentoring and community-building activities to help students manage emotional challenges and adjust to life in Korea.

In addition, through collaboration with the local community, students are offered various cultural experiences, supporting their smooth adaptation and personal growth.

Sangji University will continue its efforts to ensure that international students can thrive both academically and in their daily lives. 🌟

🌸✨ 상지대학교에서 맞이하는 첫 번째 봄

2026학년도 봄학기가 시작된 지 어느덧 한 달,
벌써 4월이 되어 캠퍼스 곳곳에 벚꽃이 만개했습니다.

처음 한국에 온 우리 외국인 유학생들도
따뜻한 봄바람과 함께 찾아온 벚꽃을 만끽하며
캠퍼스 곳곳을 누비고 있습니다. 🌿

흩날리는 벚꽃 아래에서,
친구들과 함께 웃으며 사진을 남기고
각자의 방식으로 ‘한국에서의 첫 봄’을 기억하고 있습니다. 📸

뿐만 아니라 지난 주말에는 중국 사무소와 함께 강릉으로 봄소풍을 다녀오며,
캠퍼스를 넘어 한국의 봄을 더욱 가까이에서 느끼는 특별한 시간도 보냈습니다.

낯설었던 공간이 조금씩 익숙해지고,
그 속에서 새로운 추억이 쌓여가는 요즘—
상지대학교의 봄은 더욱 특별하게 느껴집니다.

It has already been a month since the start of the 2026 Spring semester,
and now April has arrived, bringing beautiful cherry blossoms into full bloom across the campus.

For many of our international students, this is their very first spring in Korea.
Surrounded by warm breezes and blooming flowers, they are exploring every corner of the campus and embracing the season. 🌿

Under the falling cherry blossoms,
they laugh with friends, capture special moments,
and create unforgettable memories of their “first spring in Korea.” 📸

In addition, last weekend, students from the China Office enjoyed a spring picnic in Gangneung, experiencing the beauty of Korea beyond the campus.

What once felt unfamiliar is gradually becoming home,
and each day is adding a new chapter to their journey.
