Yesterday I had the privilege of presenting “From Burnout to Boundaries” at the NOVA 52 National Conference to a room full of victim advocates, first responders, and helping professionals.
One message seemed to resonate throughout our time together:
The work matters… and so do the people doing it.
Those who spend their lives caring for others often forget to care for themselves.
That conversation doesn’t end when the conference ends.
Over the coming months, Walking Home will be taking that conversation beyond the classroom through two small-group Restoration & Connection Retreats.
🇰🇭 Siem Reap, Cambodia (November 1–6, 2026)
A foundation retreat focused on reflection, resilience, cultural immersion, and meaningful connection.
🇹🇭 Hua Hin, Thailand (February 4–10, 2027)
A deeper experience of restoration through mindful movement, community, beach walks, Thai culture, and practical tools for returning home renewed.
These won’t be large conferences or crowded tours.
They’ll be intentionally small groups where there is space to slow down, reconnect, and remember what restoration feels like.
If this speaks to you—or if you know someone who spends their life helping others—I invite you to scan the QR code on the flyer and join the interest list.
