To celebrate Family Month, Mozips Village is hosting a series of voice chat sessions on various topics related to families. The sessions will take place at 11 PM KST (GMT +9) on the following dates:

May 1: Good family
May 8: Parents
May 15: Teachers
May 22: Good adults
May 29: Good couples
Anyone can participate in these sessions. You can join the Mozips Village Discord server through the URL link in my bio, or if you're not sure how to do that, feel free to DM me and I'll help you out. Let's have some meaningful conversations about families!

We are Mozips!
Today 3.1절 (sam-il jeol) is also known as the Independence Movement Day or the March 1st Movement. It commemorates the start of a peaceful protest that took place on March 1, 1919, against Japanese colonial rule of Korea.

During this movement, thousands of Koreans, both young and old, took to the streets to demand independence and to express their desire for self-rule. The protests spread throughout the country, and although they were met with violent suppression from Japanese authorities, the movement continued for several months.

The March 1st Movement is considered a turning point in Korean history, as it sparked a national consciousness for independence and paved the way for the eventual liberation of Korea from Japanese colonial rule in 1945.

On 3.1절, Koreans celebrate and remember the sacrifices of those who participated in the movement and honor their legacy of fighting for independence and democracy. It is a national holiday in South Korea, and many Koreans attend commemorative events, such as speeches, parades, and cultural performances.
