Last year during the height of the pandemic I left New York City and went to live in Seoul South Korea for about 1 year. More on that on another post! Bt while I was there I started, essentially an Acting School with my lovely . Things weren't as hairy over there as it was in the US. People were still gathering in person with masks etc. So we decided to offer to the Acting community in Korea our insights and experience in the Uta Hagen process of acting .

It was a thrilling experience, it gave us a sense of purpose knowing that we were contributing some special especially during these times. We made many new friends, new colleagues and felt great being able to share the magic and insight to the enduring legacy of

This film festival is truly an incredible space for artists to share their work, meet and share ideas with one another..I am grateful to have this experience to bring my Trinidadian story to a larger audience here, my adopted home if Brooklyn, NY. The Institute for Small Islands is looking for an Intern!

We’re looking for a research-hungry, social media-savvy, detail-oriented, multi-tasking person to work from home, part-time with us on a flexible basis. This internship is unpaid.

Experience in research, writing, events, or social media is highly desirable.

We are open to various backgrounds, including those from law, economics, policy, international relations, international development, communications, journalism, science, art history.

The Institute is an independent research and policy institute, which rests on four pillars: (i) the environment (with a particular focus on climate change, pollution, and conservation), (ii) human rights, (iii) sustainable development and (iv) culture.
