[Dwight School Seoul] Grade 2 Science Fair 🧑‍🔬✨ – 16 DEC 2025

Our G2 students proudly concluded their science unit with an engaging Science Fair focused on natural disasters.

They explored topics such as earthquakes, tornadoes, and volcanoes, sharing their learning journey with students from other grade levels while confidently explaining their ideas, experiments, and discoveries 🌱🔍

Through this meaningful experience, our young learners practiced observation, communication, and critical thinking while making connections between their learning and the world around them 🌍✨

[Dwight School Seoul] Consistency is Key! 🔑🏃‍♀️

Despite the cold and wet weather, Dwight's enthusiastic Middle School runners showed up for a festive Run Club practice at Nanji Park, the final one of 2025!🌧️🌲

This marks the first year that our runners have continued to regularly train as a group beyond the cross-country season. Their dedication and commitment will undoubtedly pay off next season! All Upper School students are welcome to join us when Run Club restarts in January 2026!

[Dwight School Seoul] Festival of Lights Assembly 🎉 – 15 DEC 2025

Our Whole School students enriched the Festival of Lights through a beautiful variety of performances, including singing, instrumental music, and poetry recitations 🌟🎶

From thoughtfully prepared performances by each grade to the harmony created across different year levels, the assembly beautifully reflected the creativity and collaboration within our school community.

Our Winter Market was a joyful celebration filled with holiday cheer 🎄✨

It was a wonderful opportunity for our school clubs and parents to come together, selling and showcasing a variety of festive, winter-themed items. The event was full of warmth and lively energy!

Seeing our community, families, students, and staff enjoying the festivities and embracing the holiday spirit truly made the day memorable 💫

Our students recently dazzled the stage with their performance of Beauty and the Beast Junior!
Over two wonderful days, the cast brought this beloved story to life with impressive acting, heartfelt music, and incredible energy that filled the theater.

[Dwight School Seoul] G2 STEAM Experiments 🌋🌪️ – 4 DEC 2025

Our Grade 2 students explored the amazing forces of nature through hands-on STEAM experiments, discovering how natural disasters like earthquakes, volcanoes, and tornadoes occur and what drives these powerful reactions! ⚡

To bring their learning to life, they created mini simulations, observing natural phenomena, testing structures, and making predictions as young engineers and scientists. 🧪🏗️

Through these exciting activities, our students strengthened their problem-solving skills, sparked their scientific curiosity, and saw firsthand how STEAM helps us understand the dynamic world around us. 🌍✨

[Dwight School Seoul] SPARK House Day 🦁 – 3 DEC 2025

Our entire school community came together to celebrate teamwork, responsibility, and the joy of shared experiences across our Houses. ✨

♻️ Environmental Warriors Activity
Students and teachers went to their designated areas to collect rubbish, working together to care for our community and the environment. Through this activity, participants practiced responsibility and made a positive impact—one small action at a time.

🏃‍♂️ House Relays
The excitement continued in the gym, where students took part in a series of relays designed to encourage cooperation, strategy, and perseverance. From running relays to partner challenges and the final baton race, each event invited learners to support one another and celebrate House spirit.

It was inspiring to see students participate with enthusiasm, cheer on their teammates, and embody the values of collaboration and sportsmanship throughout the day. 🌟
