가상실험실을 구축해 사이버 공학교육의 새로운 모델을 제시한 고려사이버대 창의공학부는 국내 사이버대 공학계열 학부 중 최대 규모의 재적생을 보유하고 있습니다. 최근에는 교육부 지원 사업에 잇따라 선정되며 온라인 공학교육에 있어서 최고의 경쟁력을 자랑하고 있습니다.

합리적 교육비 제도

합리적 등록금(학점당 64,000원)과 최저졸업이수학점 132학점(타 대학 평균 140학점)으로 학생 부담을 줄이고 최적의 교육과정을 제공합니다. 국가장학금을 비롯해 선취업-후진학 직장인, 다문화가정 이주민, 부부 동반 재학생, 재단 산하기관 재직자, 산업체 및 군 위탁 교육생 등을 대상으로 다양한 장학제도를 마련하고 있습니다.

고려사이버대학교는 저출산, 고령화, 다문화사회에 필요한 휴먼서비스를 교육함으로써 더불어 사는 건강한 사회를 만들어 나가고자 합니다. 보건·복지·교육·상담 분야의 학과를 운영하며 아동에서 노인까지 생애주기별 맞춤형 강의를 제공합니다. 국내 최초로 미국 케어기빙 전문 연구기관 RCI와 치매 및 만성질환자 가족을 위한 ‘케어기빙 전문교육과정’을 공동개발해 경쟁력 있는 돌봄전문가를 양성하고 있습니다.

An Environment Developed with Only the Finest Education in Mind

The Cyber University of Korea independently creates 100% of its lectures in order to provide an effective online education. In addition, our aim is to never cease in our efforts to provide learning content that defines the times we live in through state-of-the-art facilities such as a cutting-edge circular studio equipped with multimedia presentation systems located in the Inchon Hall of the Gye-dong Campus.

Professional Education

Presently, The Cyber University of Korea is comprised of 250 faculty members and research staff who are prominent in their chosen fields of expertise which means that the university is capable of providing more than 600 different subjects. Our coursed are specifically designed to provide both practical and in-depth content including the BIB(Bring in Brain) project, which delivers lectures that accurately reflect the knowledge and skills of scholars and intellectuals from all around the world.

The Cyber University of Korea ranked first for five consecutive years as the most competitive online university in terms of acceptance rates (2013-2017), and recorded the highest student recruitment rates for three consecutive years (2015-2017). CUK’s status as Korea’s top online university based on the levels of student satisfaction clearly reflects the reforms and endeavors that set it apart from other institutions. In addition, by recording both the highest number of foreign students (94 students, 2016) and the highest number of students living abroad (336 students, 2017), the university displays the steps that must be taken to move with the world.

Innovative Online Engineering Education

The Cyber University of Korea established the world’s first Virtual Lab through implementing cloud virtualization technology that provides a new paradigm for online engineering education. In addition, by continuing to expand its cooperation with Korea University's College of Engineering, it has cemented its competitive advantage in online engineering education through an assortment of methods such as the development of joint academic courses, and by transforming into the largest online engineering division in Korea.

Humane and People-Oriented Education

As we position ourselves as a people-oriented university, such an outlook determines our goal to provide education for everyone no matter of their standing within society, while we must also consider the future of our neighbors. Therefore, our ceaseless efforts for pursuing change, innovation, and humanity will never stop until we have channeled everyone’s potential so that they may be reborn as creative human resources. For instance, we have distributed the free online education program for learning the Korean language, 'Quick Korean' throughout the world. Furthermore, it is imperative that we provide support for the foreign spouses of Korean nationals and multicultural families in the hope that they can successfully settle in Korea by implementing the ‘social integration program for immigrants’ in addition to establishing the ‘international cooperation/multiple cultures major’.

CUK Global Networks

CUK moves forward as such a rate that it already boasts of its expanded educational foundation and consolidated international capabilities through the global educational partnerships that it has set up with the world's leading universities. In particular, we have developed close partnerships with universities such as Georgia Southwestern State University (U.S.), the University of Tennessee at Martin (U.S.), University of Newcastle (U.K.), University of Language and International Studies of VNU (Vietnam), Kindai University (Japan), Fudan University (China), Kazan Federal University (Russian Federation), Sripatum University (Thailand), UP Open University (Philippines), and Open International University of Human Development «Ukraine» (Ukraine). In addition, by serving as a member of the International Council for Open and Distance Education (ICDE) and the Asian Association of Open Universities (AAOU), CUK continues to adapt and accrue the different learning education systems of some of the finest universities around the world in order to remain fully prepared for the ever-changing environment of online education.

Extended Practical Education

In our role of providing first-rate educational services and an adaptive infrastructure that will meet the diverse educational needs of all who attend the university, we have signed cooperative agreements and industry-academia cooperation agreements with leading organizations, and thereby continued to expand the scope of our education. In addition, we have extended the practical education through the operation of over 250 courses for national and private certificates.

Liberal Convergence Education

Connectivity and convergence lie at the core of the fourth industrial revolution. Therefore, we are integrating information and knowledge across a number of fields as deemed necessary by society to further advance convergence-type human resources who will create new values for the benefit of society.
