🔥🇲🇽 BTS Didn’t Just Arrive in Mexico… They Became a NATIONAL EVENT 💜
From standing beside Mexican President Claudia Sheinbaum on the balcony of the National Palace to greeting over 50,000 screaming fans at the Zócalo, BTS’s arrival in Mexico felt bigger than a concert tour — it felt historic. 🏟️✨
All 3 shows at Estadio GNP Seguros sold out almost instantly, with the concerts expected to generate over $100 million USD for Mexico’s economy. Even Mexico City’s government treated the moment like a cultural celebration for the entire nation. 🇲🇽🔥
And the numbers explain why:
🎧 Mexico City became the #1 city in the WORLD listening to BTS on Spotify after their comeback.
💜 Millions of Latin American ARMYs helped turn BTS into more than just artists — they became part of a movement, a community, and a cultural bridge between Korea and Latin America.
What makes BTS different isn’t only the music.
It’s the connection.
The emotion.
The feeling that fans are part of the journey too. 🥹✨
From fan projects and dance covers to streaming parties and social media campaigns, Latin American ARMYs have helped BTS grow into a global phenomenon that now commands presidential attention.
A Korean group from thousands of miles away filling one of the world’s largest public squares with love, music, and unity? That’s the power of BTS. 🌎💜

It's true 👍
🇰🇷💬 Small Talk? Not So Small in Korea…
“Hi, how are you?” — a simple question in places like London, but in Korea, it can feel surprisingly… big.
A Korean barista working abroad noticed something fascinating: while most customers in London easily chat and smile, the same approach in Korea often leads to confusion — even a polite “Pardon me?” 🤔
So what’s really going on?
In everyday Korean life, interactions are often efficient and purpose-driven:
☕ Order your coffee → Pay → Done
🛍️ Buy your item → Thank you → Move on
No extra chatter, no random conversations in elevators, parks, or streets. Even eye contact can turn into a quick “look away” moment.
But here’s the key 👉
It’s not about being unfriendly.
Korean culture tends to value:
✔️ Respecting personal space
✔️ Avoiding unnecessary intrusion
✔️ Keeping social interactions context-based
In other words, silence can actually be a form of politeness.
Interestingly, many Koreans do enjoy deep conversations — just usually with people they already know, not strangers. And as more Koreans travel or live abroad, curiosity about small talk is growing too 🌍
💭 So maybe it’s not that Koreans can’t do small talk…
They just don’t feel the need to.
👉 So what do you think?
Is small talk a friendly gesture… or just awkward filler?
