The Power of Honesty: A Remarkable Guest
At Vino Bosco, one of our most memorable guests is Mr. Shin (pseudonym), the CEO of a financial firm in Yeouido. He consistently provides honest feedback about our restaurant, and what stands out is that his honesty never feels uncomfortable.
Many guests, whether they have a positive or less favorable impression, tend to be cautious when giving feedback. However, Mr. Shin always shares his sincere thoughts, demonstrating honesty with respect for others. Itโs not easy to offer honest advice without offending, but he does it effortlessly.

โToday, on September 17th, 2024, we celebrate Chuseok, the Korean Harvest Festival. At Vino Bosco, my Italian wine dining restaurant, Iโve beautifully wrapped some wine for the occasion. A regular customer, knowing Iโm a sommelier, asked me to prepare a special wine gift for a friend as a Chuseok present. Today, I sent some wine to my dear aunt. Itโs a slightly sweet Italian sparkling wine from my restaurant, Vino Bosco, shipped via courier.
With the weather being so hot, this Moscato Spumante will taste amazing when served chilled!
My aunt used to take care of me like in the photo when I was a child... I was raised without parents , and it often meant taking time from my aunts, even bringing me along on dates.
My aunt always has a bright smile and a gentle, cheerful personality that I absolutely adore!

"Whatโs your favorite food?"
Without a moment's hesitation, I would say it's Neapolitan-style Margherita pizza.
Whether I don't have an appetite, I'm feeling down, my body is exhausted, or I have a good wine on hand, I get energy from eating Margherita pizza.
While I worked at an authentic Italian restaurant in Ginza, Japan, I ate Neapolitan-style pizza almost every day.
I discovered Neapolitan pizza at that restaurant and was immediately hooked.
I worked there for three years, and during that time, I ate Neapolitan pizza on about 300 days a year, and of those, about 200 were Margherita pizzas.
"That's an unbelievable amount, right?
For some reason, I never got tired of it, no matter how much I ate.
Then one day, a Roman-style pizzeria opened just 100 meters away from the restaurant where I worked!
The first time I tried Roman-style pizza, it felt completely different from Neapolitan pizza because the dough was entirely flat and very thin.
In my personal opinion, the downside of Neapolitan pizza is that the crust around the edges is thick, and since there's no sauce on it, the taste can be bland.
However, the Roman-style pizza dough, which is rolled out thinly with a rolling pin, has sauce spread all over it, and it was delicious. It felt like an easy wine snack or even a light treat.

Since my restaurant is a wine dining establishment, I thought it would be perfect as a snack or light meal, so I added it to the menu.
