This post contains all necessary information regarding this weekends venue!

How to get to Ewha Womans University ECC building

Front Gate Entrance:
From Ewha Womans Univ. Station:
1. Leave the station through Exit 2 or 3 of Ewha Womans Univ. Station.
2. Go straight ahead
3. Enter through the main entrance of Ewha Womans University.
4. Use Gate 3 or Gate 4 of ECC (Ewha Campus Complex) to access the venue.
(Note: Other gates require an access card and are not available for entry.)

Back Gate:
From Ewha Womans Univ. back gate (이대후문) bus stop:
1. Enter through the Back gate.
2. Refer to the map below and find ECC
3. Use Gate 3 or Gate 4 of ECC (Ewha Campus Complex) to access the venue.

Please refer to the 1st attachment for directions to the ECC building, and the 2nd for directions to the secondary debating venue and lunch venue!

[KNC Judge Update]

Hello Everyone! Subsequent to the emergency KCM meeting held at 11pm on the 15th of May (Monday), it has been decided that institutions missing judges will be required to pay a fee/fine. Below is the given fine for this tournament:

Per missing judge requirement: 120,000 KRW

Payment Information:

This fine has been decided based on the cost of getting an IA to judge the tournament (15,000 KRW x 8 rounds). It will therefore also be used to find additional IA's to achieve a sufficient number of Chair judges.

Please proceed with the appropriate payment, and we hope to still provide a memorable KNC to everyone!

[Judge Test #2: Application]

Reminders for the second judge test:
- It will be live and synchronous with a strict deadline.
- The section of the judge test will consist of the following: (1) MCQ and T/F and (2) Oral Adjudication.
- Failure to take the just test will merit an automatic 0 or a trainee status. Note that a trainee does not count as an 'n' judge for the institution.
- Both panelists (n-1) and chair (n/2) statuses can be fulfilled by meeting the required score in the judge test. Only those who meet the exempted criteria are given a chair status without taking the test.

Finally, we are seeking debaters who are interested in participating in the Show Debate for Judge Test #2.
