The ICA seeks new works featuring the soprano clarinet (Bb or A), 5 to 15 minutes in length and new clarinet chamber works for 2-5 players, 5-15 minutes in length. The deadline for the competitions is December 20, 2025; the winners will each receive a $1,000 prize and a performance of their work at ClarinetFest® 2026, depending on availability of performers/instrumentation. Contestants may enter only one piece per category each year.

Items must be received by December 20, 2025.
1. Scores must be submitted electronically (PDF only) WITHOUT the applicant’s name or any identifying information on the score or filename. This includes dedications, and name markings in foreign languages, including in file names and descriptions. Entries will be disqualified if identifying markers are found on the score, performance notes, or file names.
2. A midi recording in .mp3 format or a clarinet recording in .mp3 format must be submitted WITHOUT the applicant’s name or any identifying information on the filename.
3. Scores and recordings should be submitted using the Google Form.
