The AI Department students at Kyungdong University Global attended Smart Tech Korea 2026 at COEX, Seoul, where they explored the AI & Big Data Show, Smart Tech Show, AI Factory Expo, and Metaverse Festival.

Students also participated in TechCon, gaining insights into emerging technologies, industry trends, and professional networking. Through this experience, students engaged directly with industry experts and innovative technologies. Through opportunities like Smart Tech Korea 2026, Kyungdong University Global continues to enhance students’ industry awareness, professional networks, and career readiness in the field of AI.

The AI and Programming Club will be organizing a Programming Arena competition on June 9th at 10:00 AM at Kyungdong University Global.

Students will compete to solve programming challenges and demonstrate their coding skills in a competitive environment.

The winning team will receive exciting prizes and certificates recognizing their achievement.

We hope this event will help identify talented students with the potential to represent KDU Global in future opportunities beyond the university. Interdepartmental teams are welcome and encouraged, as the focus is on bringing together the strongest talent across the university.

We recently wrapped up an incredible 2-day Faculty Workshop at the Department of AI, Kyungdong University Global! Faculty members dived deep into transforming the academic ecosystem through collaborative intelligence—learning to work alongside AI as a teaching co-pilot, research assistant, and peer reviewer.
