Cheongju Girls' High School (Hangeul: 청주여자고등학교) founded in April 10, 1938 is the first public girls' high school in Cheongju, South Korea. At the inception of the foundation, the school name was "the Second Girls' Public High School of Cheongju(청주제2공립고등여학교)" and was located near Sangdang Park, Cheongju. The school was reorganized into Cheongju Girls' Middle School and Cheongju Girls' High School after the independence from Japan occupation in 1945. In 1981, it was relocated to Yulyang-dong, Sangdang-ku, Cheongju where the school stands now. Started with 4 classes and 200 students as the whole school, it has now 12 classes and about 500 students per grade. It has produced 26,654 graduates up to now (2012).
