❌ Not eligible: New, transfer, readmitted students & those with tuition under 1,000,000 KRW

We are deeply saddened to share the tragic passing of Roshan Bahadur Pakhrin, a Nepali student at Dong-A University, Busan, who was admitted to the hospital on 7 November 2025 and passed away on 10 November 2025 after continuous treatment efforts.

To send his body back to Nepal and cover medical expenses, an estimated ₩14,000,000 (approx. 14 million KRW) is required.
In this painful time, we kindly request everyone to come together and support Roshan’s family through your generous financial contributions and by sharing this message to reach more helping hands. 🕊️

Today, at Busan University of Foreign Studies, we held a memorial program to honor those who tragically lost their lives during the recent anti-corruption protests in Nepal.

The program included candle lighting and a two-minute silent meditation to pay tribute to their courage and sacrifice.

We sincerely thank Dr. Yang Sung B**g, student representative Dipak Raj, and all individuals who contributed to organizing this meaningful event. Your support and dedication made it possible.

We were also pleased to welcome new freshman students who joined us during this gathering. We wish them a successful and fulfilling academic journey at our university.
