프랑스에는 'La Vie en Rose’라는 유명한 노래가 있습니다. 이 말은 '장밋빛 인생'이라는 뜻입니다. 모든 것이 완벽하다는 의미는 아닙니다. 사랑하는 사람과 함께 있을 때 세상이 더 아름답게 보인다는 뜻입니다. 우리는 살면서 힘든 일을 많이 경험합니다. 시험에 떨어질 수도 있고, 직장에서 실수를 할 수도 있으며, 가족이나 친구와 다툴 수도 있습니다. 하지만 같은 상황이라도 어떤 사람은 희망을 보고, 어떤 사람은 절망만 봅니다. 사람들은 이것을 ‘장밋빛 안경을 쓰다' 라고 표현하기도 합니다. 물론 현실을 무시하라는 뜻은 아닙니다. 어려운 상황 속에서도 좋은 점을 찾고 감사하는 마음을 가지라는 의미입니다. 행복한 사람은 문제가 전혀 없는 사람이 아닙니다. 작은 기쁨을 발견할 줄 아는 사람입니다. 맛있는 커피 한 잔, 따뜻한 햇살, 친구의 미소도 우리의 하루를 특별하게 만들 수 있습니다. 오늘 하루만이라도 장밋빛 안경을 쓰고 세상을 바라보면 어떨까요? 어쩌면 평범한 하루가 조금 더 아름답게 느껴질지도 모릅니다.

France has a famous song called “La Vie en Rose.” The phrase means “life in pink” or “seeing life through rose-colored glasses.” It does not mean that everything is perfect. Rather, it means that the world seems more beautiful when you are with someone you love.
We experience many difficulties in life. We may fail an exam, make mistakes at work, or argue with family and friends. Yet even in the same situation, some people find hope while others see only despair. People sometimes describe this attitude as “wearing rose-colored glasses.” Of course, this does not mean ignoring reality. It means trying to find something positive and being grateful even during difficult times. A happy person is not someone who has no problems. A happy person is someone who knows how to discover small moments of joy. A delicious cup of coffee, warm sunshine, or a friend’s smile can make an ordinary day feel special. What if you looked at the world through rose-colored glasses, even for just one day? You might find that an ordinary day becomes a little more beautiful.

Pink Shirt Day is an international anti-bullying campaign that encourages people to wear pink to show support for those who experience bullying. It promotes kindness, respect, inclusion, and the idea that everyone deserves to feel safe and accepted.

Pink Shirt Day began in 2007 in Nova Scotia, Canada. A ninth-grade boy wore a pink shirt to school and was bullied because some students believed pink was “only for girls.” When two twelfth-grade students learned about what had happened, they decided to take action. They bought dozens of pink shirts and encouraged their classmates to wear them to school the next day as a show of support. The following day, many students arrived wearing pink. The bullied student realized he was not alone, and the bullying quickly stopped. This simple act of kindness inspired people around the world and eventually grew into an international movement against bullying.
