Hope School

Bro Arun, who leads our four Hope Schools, attended the annual meeting at the Siem Reap Education Department. The ministry shared updates on education developments across the province. After the meeting, Bro Arun caught up with some of our teachers, encouraging and guiding them. Great job, Bro Arun — we’re grateful for your heart and leadership! 💛

The students of Sihanouk Village School enjoyed a tasty and nutritious meal, thanks to Allan’s kind treat! They also had a fun and engaging class led by our scholarship student, Keam Sophea, who has been generously sharing her time to teach village kids while studying at university. Great job, Keam Sophea—keep inspiring others with your dedication!

A joyful drawing lesson took place at New HS@Siem Reap, where the children spent a wonderful time exploring their creativity with Teacher Sophea’s guidance. Through these moments of art and imagination, may their talents continue to blossom and lead them to become amazing artists one day!

Sen Chay Government School has now fully reopened after the recent border conflict between Cambodia and Thailand. The students are once again filling the classrooms with laughter and learning, grateful to return to a sense of normalcy. Thanks to the generosity of Allan, nutritious meals are now being provided for all the children. After enduring such a difficult and uncertain period, these simple meals bring comfort, joy, and renewed energy to their days. Our heartfelt thanks to Allan for his kindness and continued support in helping the students rebuild their routines and spirits.

The desire to learn is ever growing in the village of Ron TaEk, and it’s heartening to see the students’ excitement each day as they step into class. We are truly grateful to have Teacher Davan leading HS@Ron TaEk with dedication and passion. His tireless efforts, patience, and creativity have inspired many young minds to dream bigger and work harder. The students look up to him not only as a teacher but also as a mentor who believes in their potential. Thank you, Teacher Davan, for your unwavering commitment to nurturing a love for learning in this community!

Teacher Sophea brought smiles to the students at New HS by organizing a cheerful New Year celebration for those who couldn't return to their hometowns for the Khmer New Year. The day was filled with laughter, games, and simple moments of joy as everyone relaxed, shared stories, and enjoyed each other’s company like one big family.

Happy Khmer New Year! 🎉 Big thanks to Teacher Davan and Teacher Thon for putting together a fun celebration at HS@Ron TaEk and Old HS@Siem Reap. The students had an awesome time playing games, sharing food, and hanging out together. Wonderful job, Teacher Davan and Teacher Thon — what a great way to kick off the new year!

Around 65 students are being cared for by the dedicated volunteer teacher, Thara.

Our scholarship students are now in their second year of studies. Sophea has performed exceptionally well, earning the top position in her class. We hope that when they graduate, they will, in turn, inspire and support their peers to work hard and pursue academic excellence.
