Go find your worth, your inspiration, and make the world a better place.
My name is Sea Chanthana, an English student who recently graduated from the EHSS Program here at PUCSR. Let me take a deep breath — because this moment truly feels like a dream come true.
I want to express my heartfelt gratitude to my family, friends, grandmother, and parents whose love and guidance brought me here. I also want to sincerely thank the school management for the scholarship that made this journey possible. Because of all of you, I stand here today.
PUCSR is truly an institution of excellence. From our dedicated teachers to the innovative curriculum, this school created a joyful yet disciplined environment that pushed every one of us to grow — not just academically, but as people. As I celebrate this graduation, I celebrate not just a certificate, but the resilience, determination, and growth it took to earn it.
Now, reflecting on this journey — I'll be honest — not every moment was a proud one. Some were downright hilarious.
When I first arrived at PUCSR, my entire English vocabulary was five words: "Hello," "How are you?", "Yes," "No," and "OK." One day, rushing up the stairs, I accidentally bumped into a foreign teacher. I said "Sorry" — he asked me something — and having no idea what he said, I gambled with "Yes." He kept talking. I panicked and said "No." He laughed. I said "OK." He laughed even harder, patted my shoulder, and walked away. I stood there completely confused. From that day on, whenever I spotted a foreign teacher — I went the other way!
But look at me now. Today I can confidently speak with any foreign teacher I meet. That is the transformation of a PUCSR student, and enrolling here is a decision I will never regret.
The journey wasn't easy though. I struggled with speaking, writing, and listening. I arrived late, turned in imperfect work, and felt completely trapped in my comfort zone. But I didn't give up — because I wasn't alone. My teachers pushed me, my family supported me, and I committed to a strict routine of movies, music, and IELTS podcasts every day until slowly, I stepped out of that comfort zone.
Through that consistency, I grew — and I realized that learning English isn't just about scores. It's about building a brighter future, gaining real skills, and finding the confidence to use them in the real world.
As we celebrate this milestone, seek inspiration everywhere — in the people you meet, the books you read, and within yourself. Believe in your abilities. You have the power to make a difference and leave a lasting legacy.
To all distinguished guests, proud parents, and my fellow graduates — I wish you happiness, prosperity, and a bright future ahead.
Congratulations, Class of 2026!
