គួររំលឹកថា កម្មវិធីប្រកួតប្រជែងអភិវឌ្ឍកម្មវិធីសុសវែរ (Coding Challenge) ជាការប្រកួតសរសេរកម្មវិធីថ្មីមួយ ដែលមជ្ឈមណ្ឌលកូរ៉េ សហ្វវែរ អេច អ ឌី រៀបចំឡើងសម្រាប់និស្សិតជំនាន់ទី១៤ទាំងអស់ នៅក្នុងគោលបំណង ជួយនិស្សិតពង្រឹងការអនុវត្តការងារជាក្រុមក្នុង
រយៈពេលដ៏ខ្លី រួមមានការបែកចែកទំនួលខុសត្រូវក្នុងក្រុម,ការសហការក្រុម, ការគ្រប់គ្រងពេលវេលា និងការអនុវត្តនូវបច្ចេកវិទ្យាដែលបានរៀនកន្លងមកនៅក្នុងកម្មវិធីសុសវែរផ្ទាល់។ និស្សិតក៏អាចស្វែងយល់ពីឧបសគ្គ និងរៀនពីគន្លឹះល្អៗជាច្រើនពីកម្មវិធីប្រកួតនេះ មុនពេលពួកគេចាប់ផ្តើមធ្វើគម្រោងសុសវែរផ្លូវការ (Final Project)។

Coding Challenge Award Ceremony for 14th Generation Basic Course of Korea Software HRD Center.

On May 13, 2026, Korea Software HRD Center presented awards to the three outstanding student teams that achieved the highest scores in the Coding Challenge for 14th Generation Basic Course students. The ceremony was attended by Deputy Director Mr. Chen Phirum and all teachers of the Korea Software Center.
The Coding Challenge is a newly introduced programming competition, organized for all 13th Generation students, with the aim of strengthening teamwork over a short period. It focuses on fostering key skills such as sharing responsibilities, team collaboration, time management, and applying previously learned technologies in a software project. The competition also offers students valuable insights and lessons that will benefit them as they begin work on their final software projects.
The award ceremony was a joyful occasion, followed by the dinner together.

នៅក្នុងសិក្ខាសាលា មានការបង្ហាញអំពីគោលការណ៍សុវត្ថិភាពប្រព័ន្ធសុសវែរ និងមជ្ឈមណ្ឌលទិន្នន័យ តាមគំនិត “Zero Trust Principles” ដែលផ្អែកលើគោលការណ៍សំខាន់គឺ “Never trust, always verify” ដោយផ្តោតលើការពង្រឹងសុវត្ថិភាពឲ្យកាន់តែរឹងមាំ និងអាចការពារហានិភ័យបានប្រសើរជាងមុន។ លើសពីនេះ វាគ្មិនក៏បានចែករំលែកចំណេះដឹងមូលដ្ឋានអំពីដំណើរការប្រព័ន្ធបណ្តាញលើអ៊ីនធឺណិតផងដែរ។

Special lecture on “Zero Trust Principle” of Korea Software HRD Center

On Thursday, April 30, 2026, the Korea Software HRD Center organized a special lecture on the topic of “Zero Trust Principles.” The event was attended by Mr. Chen Phirum, Deputy Director, and featured a presentation by Mr. Suon Pisey, an alumnus from the first generation of the Korea Software HRD Center and currently the Lead of the Digital Infrastructure and System Unit under the Digital Transformation Group at the Ministry of Post and Telecommunications, instructors and all 14th generation basic course students. During the session, the speaker introduced key security concepts related to software systems and data centers based on the “Zero Trust” approach, which emphasizes the core principle of “Never trust, always verify,” aiming to strengthen security and better mitigate risks. In addition, he also shared about the fundamentals of network process. The topic attracted strong interest from students follow by active Q&A sessions. The program concluded with a group photo to commemorate the event.

Khmer Food Competition and Khmer New Year Celebration of Korea Software HRD Center

On Saturday, April 11, 2026, Korea Software HRD Center Hold a Khmer Food Competition and Khmer New Year Celebration with many participants include Mr. Chen Phirum, Deputy Director, Instructors, Staff and all student of 14th Generation Basic Course. In the morning, there was a Korean food making competition from all students. There were also evaluations and rewards to winners as well. Moreover, in the afternoon, there were many Khmer Traditional Games and Dancing followed by Khmer Noodle which made the event full of entertainment.
Korea Software HRD Center wishes good blessings, happiness and prosperity to the management team, instructors and students, as well as all the partners of the center in this New Year.

After 3 months of hard work and training, students at the Korea Software HRD Center are now ready for a big coding challenge.
To prepare for their Final Projects, the center is hosting a "Coding Challenge" to help students practice their skills in a real-world setting.
In this challenge, students will focus on:
Teamwork: Learning how to work together and share tasks.
Real Skills: Applying what they learned in class into a system.
Innovate & Solve Problems: Tackle real-world challenges by combining their coding expertise with AI-assisted development.
All 6 teams will compete to build a Full Stack Platform called “HRD Community” (both the front and back end).

Phnom Penh: On Wednesday, March 25, 2026, the Korea Software HRD Center organized a workshop titled “Modern Developer Evolution and Adaptation in the Age of AI” at the Cambodia-Korea Cooperation Center (CKCC). The event was attended by Mr. Chen Phirum, Deputy Director of the Korea Software HRD Center, and guest speaker Dr. Kong Vungsovannreach, a 6th-generation alumnus who recently earned his PhD in Big Data from Chungbuk National University in South Korea and is currently a post-doctoral researcher there. The workshop also welcomed faculty members and all 14th-generation foundation-level students of the center.
During this meaningful session, Dr. Sovannreach shared insights on the importance of adapting to the rapidly evolving era of Artificial Intelligence. He discussed the strengths and weaknesses of AI compared to human capabilities and highlighted the specific traits humans must cultivate to seize opportunities in this new landscape. He emphasized that learning to use AI correctly and intelligently is the key to future readiness and remain competitive in today’s job market. Furthermore, he shared his personal methods and experiences using AI that led to his current success. The workshop not only provided technical knowledge but also inspired the audience to be courageous in their studies and self-development within the digital age. Sport Reunion of Korea Software HRD Center

On March 14, 2026. Korea Software HRD Center held a reunion event including Sport in the morning for all generations. There were a lot of participants including Mr. Chen Phirum, Deputy Director of Korea Software HRD Center, Mr. Seol Wookhwan, CEO of KOSIGN Cambodia, HRD Staff and all alumni from all generations. The alumni were very happy with this gathering at which they could meet their friends, teachers and join sport and games together with solidarity. At the end of the event there were also award deliveries to the winners and had photo session together as well.
In addition, the Korea Software HRD Center also organized a buffet dinner gathering with all students from the 14th scholarship generation, along with singing and entertainment activities.
So far, Korea Software HRD Center has trained IT students for 13 generations. They had played very important role for ICT development in Cambodia by working in public and private sector, International IT Companies and some even got the scholarship for study Master and PhD aboard. Currently, Korea Software HD Center is training 14th generation IT scholarship students to meet the needs of the IT market and society.

It should be noticed that Korea Software HRD Center has been working hard to contribute in ICT promotion in Cambodia since 2013 through intensive training and human resource development. Korea Software HRD Center also have close relation with many universities in South Korea and has been coordinating the students to continue higher education abroad. So far, more than 70 KSHRD alumni has received the scholarship to pursue Master and PhD abroad. Some of them have graduated and become the potential resource in ICT industry.

On Tuesday, February 24, 2026, the Korea Software HRD Center organized a special lecture titled “Time to Get Up”, which was held at CKCC. The lecture was delivered by Mr. Chen Phirum, Deputy Director of the Korea Software HRD Center, with the participation of instructors and all Generation 14th Basic course students.
The lecture focused on the importance of strengthening discipline, the benefits of having discipline, and effective time management strategies.
This topic is highly valuable for students, providing important insights and motivation through key points such as:

Monthly Party and Sport Event for Team build-up, friendship and staying healthy for 14th Generation Basic Course of Korea Software HRD Center

On February 21, 2026, Korea Software HRD Center held a sports event and monthly party for 14th Generation Basic Course Students for February 2026. The Sports Event was organized for the purpose of building solidarity, friendship, and staying healthy with the participants of Deputy Director Mr. Chen Phirum, all staff and students from 14th Generation Basic Course. We also had additional games and photo sessions together at the end of the Sport Event. Everyone also had BBQ dinner together. The event was going smoothly and was full of entertainment.

Orientation Day for ITE 14th Generation Basic Course Training in Academic Year 2026 of Korea Software HRD Center

On February 02, 2026, Korea Software HRD Center hosted an Opening and Orientation Event to welcome ITE 14th Generation Basic Course at Cambodia-Korea Cooperation Center, chairmanship by Director Mr. KIM HAN-SOO, Deputy Director Mr. CHEN PHIRUM, all staff and ITE 14th Generation Basic Course students. The Event included welcome speech and good advice to all students in 14th Generation Basic Course from the Director and Deputy Director. There was also a presentation about the rule and regulation, the assessment of each subject of the 14th Generation Basic Course including Korean Language. At the end of the event, there were also questions and answers and a photo session together.
