We are deeply honored to welcome Dr. Barry Bai, an associate professor with tenure at the Department of Curriculum and the director of Centre for Language Education and Multiliteracies Research at the Chinese University of Hong Kong, as our keynote speaker.
A distinguished scholar in language education and applied linguistics, Dr. Barry has been recognized among the top 2% most-cited researchers worldwide in Languages & Linguistics by Stanford University for three consecutive years (2023–2025).
As a keynote speaker at the 8th Cambodian ELT Conference, he will share how integrating social and emotional learning (SEL) into English language education can foster learner engagement, emotional well-being, self-regulated learning, and greater learner autonomy.

We are thrilled to welcome Ms. SMAN NORANY, a PHD Candidate at the Royal University of Phnom Penh to be one of our keynote speakers of the 8th ELT Conference.

Besides her role as university lecturer at IFL, RUPP, she has involved actively in EFL and community development conferences locally and internationally, and volunteered as a speaker for Muslim communities on education, youth, women’s issues, and community service. Her research interests center on teaching, women’s education, and community engagement.
