Over the past several years, it has remained committed to promoting health in Cambodia through the following initiatives: the development of a comprehensive health education curriculum, production of IEC materials, technical assistance, provision of latrines, manufacturing and distributing cement anchor house footings for use by villagers, and the construction of rainwater catchments tanks for public buildings. CHED has also developed an integrated approach to community water levels and sanitation intervention. Cambodia is a diverse and multi-cultural society and CHED has had the opportunity to work with many vulnerable populations and marginalized/minority groups. While working with these populations, CHED has practiced both cultural sensitivity and general respectfulness. We have developed an open and professional approach, utilizing highly developed interpersonal communication skills, to promote health education. CHED has trained for more than 15 years, delivering its vast knowledge on leadership, change, personal effectiveness, negotiation, and teamwork to multination NGOs and charity associations and has gained credible feedback from our clients. CHED had also provided other Cambodian organizations with support services and training on project monitoring and evaluation, so that these organizations might raise their level of efficiency and expertise and perform at a more effective level. CHED also provided the technical support for the Department of Rural Health Care, a subdivision of the Ministry of Rural Development.
