On 24th April 2026, the Department of Civil Engineering at Paragon International University successfully conducted UTM training for participants under the guidance of Mr. Lida Sorn, Head of the Department. Participants gained valuable insights into the operation of the Universal Testing Machine, developed greater confidence for future material testing, and enhanced their understanding of its crucial role in providing reliable input for engineering design, marking another meaningful step toward strengthening practical skills and academic excellence.

បេតុង គឺជាវត្ថុធាតុសំណង់មួយ ដែលផលិតឡើងពីការលាយបញ្ចូលគ្នារវាង ស៊ីម៉ងត៍ ទឹក ខ្សាច់ ថ្ម ឬ ក្រួស និងជួនកាលមានសារធាតុគីមីបន្ថែមផ្សេងទៀត។ នៅពេលដែលស៊ីម៉ងត៍លាយជាមួយទឹក វានឹងកើតជាប្រតិកម្មគីមី (ហៅថា Hydration) ដែលធ្វើឱ្យល្បាយនេះរឹង និងបម្លែងទៅជាសម្ភារៈរឹងមាំ ប្រើសម្រាប់សាងសង់អគារ ស្ពាន ផ្លូវថ្នល់ និងសំណង់ផ្សេងៗ ។

តួនាទីនៃសមាសធាតុនីមួយៗ៖
- ស៊ីម៉ង់ត៍៖ ដើរតួជាសារធាតុចងភ្ជាប់ដើម្បីភ្ជាប់សមាសធាតុទាំងអស់ជាមួយគ្នា

- ទឹក៖ មានប្រតិកម្មជាមួយស៊ីម៉ង់ត៍ និងជួយក្នុងដំណើរការលាយ
- សារធាតុគីមីបន្ថែម៖ ជួយបង្កើននូវប្រសិទ្ធភាព និងភាពធន់

Concrete is a construction materials made by mixing cement, sand, gravel or crushed stone, water, and sometime additional chemical admixtures. When cement is mixed with water, a chemical reaction called hydration occurs, causing the mixture to harden and develop into a strong solid material used for construction buildings, bridges, roads, and other structures.

Roles of each materials:
- Cement: works as a binder that holds all components together
- Sand: fills small gaps and improves its smoothness
- Gravel: provides strength and structural support
- Water: reacts with cement and helps mixing
- Admixtures: improves performance, workability and durability
