យើងមានមោទនភាពក្នុងការប្រកាសបើកជាផ្លូវការនូវកម្មវិធី វីរបុរសអាកាសធាតុថ្មី ២០២៥ (Future Climate Heroes 2025) ដែលជាគំនិតផ្តួចផ្តើមផ្តោតលើប្រធានបទ "ការរៀបចំផែនការឆ្លើយតបទៅនឹងអាកាសធាតុ"។ កម្មវិធីឆ្នាំនេះ ត្រូវបានដឹកនាំដោយប្រធានគម្រោងរបស់យើង គឺលោក តាំង ហាំងវែង ដែលនឹងដឹកនាំ អ្នកដឹកនាំវ័យក្មេងឆ្នើមចំនួន ១៥ រូប ក្នុងដំណើរស្វែងរកដំណោះស្រាយប្រកបដោយចីរភាពសម្រាប់បញ្ហាប្រឈមក្នុងទីក្រុង និងទីប្រជុំជន។

ឆ្នាំនេះ យើងរំភើបដែលបានណែនាំនូវកម្មវិធីថ្មីមួយគឺ៖ គណៈកម្មាធិការប្រឹក្សាយោបល់ជាន់ខ្ពស់ នឹងដើរតួជាអ្នកណែនាំទៅដល់អ្នកដឹកនាំវ័យក្មេងរបស់យើង។ ការណែនាំពិសេសនេះនឹងផ្តល់នូវដំបូន្មានផ្នែកវិជ្ជាជីវៈ និងការសិក្សាដ៏មានតម្លៃ។

We are proud to officially launch Future Climate Heroes 2025, an initiative focused on "Climate-Responsive Design." This year's program is spearheaded by our project leader, Haingveang Taing, who will guide 15 exceptional young leaders on a journey to pioneer sustainable solutions for urban challenges.

This year, we're excited to introduce a new element: a Senior Advisory Committee will serve as dedicated mentors to our selected participants. This unique mentorship will provide invaluable professional and academic guidance, enhancing the program's impact.

Stay tuned! We will soon announce the rest of our core team leaders, followed by the selection process of 15 Future Climate Heroes who will be joining us. We look forward to creating another impactful project together.

To celebrate 2024 for Young Southeast Asian Leaders Initiative, we are excited to share this opportunity to our Cambodian youths!

This is a unique opportunity for participants to learn about: "The fundamentals of climate change, Youth engagement for sustainable cities and communities, and The role of technology in climate action in Cambodia."

If you're free on Saturday morning from 10 AM to 11:30 AM, this is a great chance to expand your knowledge and connect with like-minded individuals.

𝐅𝐮𝐭𝐮𝐫𝐞 𝐂𝐥𝐢𝐦𝐚𝐭𝐞 𝐇𝐞𝐫𝐨𝐞𝐬 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟒 (𝐅𝐂𝐇𝟐𝟒) is officially back for a full month!

December is always an exciting time to wrap up our year. The key highlight of our efforts is that all young people are heroes for climate action, in the past until now and in the future.

In February 2024, we had the honour of showcasing Future Climate Heroes projects at the World Wildlife Day Regional Youth Symposium in Singapore. We also conducted a study tour with Cambodian youths for the "Clean Air for Green Cities" campaign in Phnom Penh City to celebrate World Clean Air Day 2024. Additionally, we have kicked off the "Shaping Urban Futures with Youths" initiative for UN Habitat's Urban October Global Movement in Cambodia.

Now, it's time for the main activities of the year. This year, FCH24 will focus on "Shaping Climate Knowledge with YOUths" which will provide a unique opportunity for Cambodian youths to listen to our founder, B**g Vathanak, one of the 12 global winners of the UNCC:Learn Champion 2024 and Climate Ambassador of the Global Youth Climate Network 2023. We are also expanding climate knowledge by hosting an event featuring inspiring youths and experts who have worked on climate action in biodiversity conservation, health, and engineering. Houseplant giveaway is always coming back this year!!! Yay!

We're excited to announce that we will have three main activities for December. One of our activities will also be a part of YSEALI YOUnified 2024.

𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐒𝐮𝐬𝐭𝐚𝐢𝐧𝐚𝐛𝐥𝐞 𝐃𝐞𝐬𝐢𝐠𝐧 𝟏𝟏 (𝐒𝐃𝟏𝟏) 𝐭𝐞𝐚𝐦 has achieved another milestone by representing our Cambodian youth community and everyone through participation in the 𝐔𝐍-𝐇𝐚𝐛𝐢𝐭𝐚𝐭'𝐬 𝐔𝐫𝐛𝐚𝐧 𝐎𝐜𝐭𝐨𝐛𝐞𝐫 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟑 𝐆𝐥𝐨𝐛𝐚𝐥 𝐌𝐨𝐯𝐞𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭. Our work has consistently focused on empowering youth to drive sustainable urban development. We are proudly featured on page 21 of the report for our work last year, "𝐘𝐨𝐮𝐭𝐡 𝐏𝐚𝐫𝐭𝐢𝐜𝐢𝐩𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐢𝐧 𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐦𝐨𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐆𝐫𝐞𝐞𝐧 𝐒𝐩𝐚𝐜𝐞 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐒𝐮𝐬𝐭𝐚𝐢𝐧𝐚𝐛𝐥𝐞 𝐋𝐢𝐟𝐞𝐬𝐭𝐲𝐥𝐞𝐬 𝐢𝐧 𝐂𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐞𝐬 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐂𝐨𝐦𝐦𝐮𝐧𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐞𝐬." Our founder and two inspired youth leaders, Oubékha Yoib and Sopharith Nun, co-led this initiative with our youth volunteers.

Following the lead of B**g Vathanak, a global youth leader in sustainable urban development, we encourage all involved parties to prioritize youth involvement, and we urge all stakeholders to focus on youth participation. He emphasized the need for grassroots efforts from diverse youth groups to accelerate positive change toward sustainable, inclusive, and resilient cities and communities.

This year, with the theme of "𝐄𝐧𝐠𝐚𝐠𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐲𝐨𝐮𝐭𝐡 𝐭𝐨 𝐜𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐭𝐞 𝐚 𝐛𝐞𝐭𝐭𝐞𝐫 𝐮𝐫𝐛𝐚𝐧 𝐟𝐮𝐭𝐮𝐫𝐞" 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐖𝐨𝐫𝐥𝐝 𝐇𝐚𝐛𝐢𝐭𝐚𝐭 𝐃𝐚𝐲 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟒, we invite you to join us in building a greener and more sustainable Cambodia.
