Liba International Christian School seeks to give local poor children the opportunity to learn English and Christian studies in a supporting and empowering environment. Due to poverty most of the local children do not have the money nor ability to gain an English education on their own, nor do they have the opportunity to hear about the love of Jesus. We offer a heavily subsidized education and th
e opportunity to know about the freedom and love of God that is found in Jesus Christ. We were founded in 2012 by Educator Rhearm Phorn and work in conjunction with Landmark Baptist church who operate on the same premises. Landmark Baptist Church also has a mandate to reach the local community with the love of Jesus through teaching, food programs and a nearby orphanage which houses local children who also attend the school. Though we run alongside our church and orphanage the school is self funded with students paying school fees of $5 per month (orphange children are free). Due to low school fees we welcome any help that individuals or organizations can offer, through monetary donations, donation of school supplies or via personal help as being part of our newly formed international teaching visits. If you have a heart for missions, teaching children about the love of God or for Cambodia in general we have the opportunity available for people to both visit and stay in the school teaching English to the students. No formal teaching degree is necessary as classes are full of eager young students hungry to learn.
