Osh State University has 17 faculties, 3 institutes, 6 colleges, 105 departments, 6 gymnasiums, 27 educational buildings, 10 student dormitories, 2 medical clinics, 1 student dispensary, 2 boarding houses, 18 sports complexes, 1 library and 17 reading rooms, electronic library, 30 educational, methodological, cultural, aesthetic, resource centers, laboratories and concert halls.

Currently, about 50 thousand students study at the university, of which more than 13 thousand are students from near and far abroad countries, 264 are graduate students, 2,172 are master's students, 35 are PhD students and 764 are students of gymnasium schools.

The 70th anniversary of social and political activist A. Erkebaev was celebrated!

Prominent writer, critic, socio-political activist, doctor of philological sciences, Honorary professor of Osh State University, academician Abdygany Erkebaev is 70 years old. In connection with this, a scientific and practical conference called "Exemplary Life" was organized on September 20, at Osh State University.
