Victory at the Interuniversity Debate Championship

On May 11, 2026, students of the International School of Medicine, International University of Kyrgyzstan (ISM IUK) proudly participated in the Interuniversity Debate Championship organized by Royal Metropolitan University.
Competing against more than 10 universities from across the Kyrgyz Republic, with 12 teams and 36 participants, the ISM IUK team delivered an outstanding performance in highly competitive and thought-provoking debates.
The team secured 2nd place, demonstrating exceptional critical thinking, communication, and teamwork skills.

Межвузовская олимпиада по фтизиатрии

27 марта в МШМ МУК прошла первая межвузовская олимпиада по фтизиатрии, приуроченная ко Всемирному дню борьбы с туберкулёзом. В ней приняли участие команды ведущих медицинских вузов Кыргызстана.

Студенты продемонстрировали высокий уровень знаний, клиническое мышление и умение работать в команде. Программа включала тестирование, анализ рентгеновских снимков, разбор клинических кейсов и презентации команд.

Interuniversity Olympiad in Phthisiology

On March 27, the first interuniversity Olympiad in Phthisiology, dedicated to World Tuberculosis Day, was held at the ISM IUK. It was attended by teams from leading medical universities in Kyrgyzstan.

The students demonstrated a high level of knowledge, clinical thinking and teamwork skills. The program included testing, X-ray analysis, clinical case analysis, and team presentations.

26 марта 2025 года в Университетской клинике «Аманат» Международной школы медицины МУК состоялась I Межуниверситетская олимпиада по педиатрии «Survival of Smartest», организованная кафедрой «Педиатрии, акушерства и гинекологии».

В соревновании участвовали пять команд из университетов Ала-Тоо, МВШМ и МШМ МУК. Олимпиада была направлена на углубление знаний студентов в области диагностики, профилактики и лечения заболеваний новорожденных. Это стало для них отличной возможностью продемонстрировать как теоретическую подготовку, так и практические навыки.

Победители получили призы, сертификаты и памятные подарки.

The First Interuniversity Pediatrics Olympiad “Survival of Smartest” Held at Amanat University Clinic.

On March 26, 2025, the First Interuniversity Pediatrics Olympiad, “Survival of Smartest,” took place at the Amanat University Clinic of the International Higher School of Medicine (IHSM). The event was organized by the Department of Pediatrics, Obstetrics, and Gynecology.

Five teams from Ala-Too University, IHSM, and ISM participated in the competition. The Olympiad aimed to deepen students’ knowledge in diagnosing, preventing, and treating neonatal diseases. It provided an excellent opportunity for them to showcase both theoretical understanding and practical skills.

Winners were awarded prizes, certificates, and commemorative gifts.

Congratulations to all participants, and best wishes for their professional growth!

С 22 по 23 марта 2025 года ассистент кафедры педиатрии, акушерства и гинекологии МШМ МУК Бугубаева П.У. приняла участие в мастер классе «Актуальные вопросы пренатальной диагностики пороков развития и нарушений состояния плода», прошедшем в республике Казахстан, г. Алма-Ата.
Рассматривались современные методы УЗИ диагностики пороков сердца плода в 1 триместре беременности, фетометрия и оценка нормальной анатомии плода во 2 и 3 триместрах беременности. Участники ознакомились с новейшими методами УЗИ диагностики аномалий развития желудочно- кишечного тракта и органов грудной клетки плода. По завершению мастер класса были вручены сертификаты.

Master class.

From March 22 to March 23, 2025, Assistant of the Department of Pediatrics, Obstetrics and Gynecology at the ISM IUK , P. Bugubaeva, took part in the master class “Current issues of prenatal diagnosis of malformations and fetal disorders”, held in the Republic of Kazakhstan, Alma Ata.

Modern methods of ultrasound diagnosis of fetal heart defects in the 1st trimester of pregnancy, fetometry and assessment of normal fetal anatomy in the 2nd and 3rd trimesters of pregnancy were considered. The participants got acquainted with the latest ultrasound diagnostic methods for abnormalities of the gastrointestinal tract and organs of the fetal thorax. At the end of the master class, certificates were awarded.

In outpatient institutions in Bishkek, students of the 9th semester of the International School of Medicine of the IUK continue to practice as an Assistant Physician at the Family Medicine Center.

For two weeks, students worked at the reception in the offices of both family doctors and doctors of narrow specialties: otolaryngologist, ophthalmologist, obstetrician-gynecologist, surgeon, etc. They also assisted in the work of the doctors and nurses of the physiotherapy room, the treatment room, and the vaccination room.

В амбулаторных учреждениях города Бишкек студенты 9 семестра Международной школы медицины МУК продолжают проходить практику «Помощник врача Центра семейной медицины».

В течение двух недель студенты работали на приеме в кабинетах как семейных врачей, так и врачей узких специальностей: отоларинголог, офтальмолог, акушер-гинеколог, хирург и др. Также они помогали в работе врачей и медицинских сестер физиокабинета, процедурного кабинета, и прививочного кабинета.
