Tumaini Academy - Shariani, Kenya Tumaini Academy is a Christian oriented learning institution but catering for all; without discrimination of color or creed.

(a) Pre-primary schoolers- young children of age 3 years, who join Kindergarten classes (KG 1 to KG 3). The children should be in the age range of 3 years and 5 years so as to enable them join the primary school at an early age of 6 years. Our recommended number of pupils per class is 30 at this level. (b) Caters also for primary education- thus standard 1 to standard 8 in the basis. Standard 1 to

standard 4 taken care of as an ECDE centre and standard 4 to standard 8 follow the accepted Kenya primary schools curriculum, guidance and syllabus. The maximum number of pupils per class is 40. It is hoped by 2012, Tumaini Academy will be able to offer opportunities for
Form 1 to form 4 (secondary education) although currently not established. It is hoped that when facilities are made available , Tumaini Academy will offer
Training opportunities to ECDE teachers at Certificate level (yet this is to be established).
