Nkabune Technical Training Institute wishes to clarify recent social media reports alleging that the institution has denied members of the neighbouring community access to its playing ground. The Institute considers the allegations misleading and notes that the circulating video clips do not present the full context of the situation.

The Institute categorically states that the playing ground is in active use and youths from the surrounding community have continued to utilise the pitch for football matches. Nkabune TTI remains committed to responsible use of its facilities while balancing community access with the institution’s core mandate and operational requirements.

We are concerned that the circulation of unverified and misleading content may create an inaccurate impression of the institution and unnecessarily strain the cordial relationship between Nkabune TTI and its neighbouring community. We therefore urge members of the public to verify information before sharing content that could damage the reputation of the institution or create unnecessary tension.

Nkabune TTI values its partnership with the surrounding community and recognises the importance of sport in promoting youth development, social cohesion and positive community engagement.

We also remain committed to maintaining a peaceful, conducive and collaborative environment that serves the interests of both the institution and the wider community.
