First Lady Mama Rachel Ruto’s engagement at Mawego National Polytechnic e Kobuya, Karachuonyo (Homa Bay County), highlights a critical nation-building mission: Ending the "Triple Threat" affecting our adolescent girls and young women.
Together, we are standing firm against:
1️⃣ New HIV Infections: Expanding preventive education and health access for youth in learning and vocational institutions.
2️⃣ Teenage Pregnancies: Supporting girls to stay in school through life-skills training, mentorship, and community advocacy.
3️⃣ Sexual & Gender-Based Violence (SGBV): Building safe environments, active reporting networks, and strong support systems.
Through technical training at Mawego National Polytechnic, practical skills, trade certifications, and socio-economic empowerment are giving young women the tools to build independent, resilient futures.
