Year 8 Students ‘School Life’ Through Music
Year 8 students explored the theme "School Life" through music. Working in groups, they composed original lyrics inspired by their daily experiences at school, including learning, friendships, challenges, achievements and memorable moments. Students combined their creative ideas with rhythm, melody and instrumental accompaniment to create engaging performances. The project helped develop teamwork, communication, creativity, and performance skills while encouraging students to express their experiences through music.

A Podium Finish for OAM U-13 Girls in Football Tournament
Our Under-13 Girls Football Team demonstrated determination, resilience and excellent sportsmanship during the recent football tournament.
The team opened the competition with a hard-fought 0–0 draw, showcasing solid defensive organization and teamwork. In their second match, the girls put in another spirited performance, earning a 1–1 draw through their persistence and commitment.
Despite facing a strong team and falling 0–3 in the final match, the team continued to compete with courage and determination until the final whistle.
Overall, the girls finished in 3rd position. The tournament provided valuable experience and highlighted the team's growth, teamwork, and positive attitude. We are proud of their efforts and look forward to building on this performance in future competitions.

OAM Under-11 Girls Netball Team Claim 3rd Place
Our Under-11 girls put on a spirited performance at the Oshwal Academy Mombasa netball tournament!
From the first whistle to the final whistle, the team displayed incredible court coordination, fierce determination, and unmatched team spirit.
Every single match was a showcase of pure skill and hard work. Their dedication paid off brilliantly, securing a fantastic 3rd-place podium finish for our school!
We could not be more proud of these young athletes for their exceptional teamwork, sportsmanship, and for flying our school flag so high.

Inter-Schools Under 7 Mixed Football Tournament
OAM proudly hosted the CISSA Under-7 Mixed Football Tournament, welcoming four schools for a day of exciting football action. Our team showcased excellent ball possession, teamwork, and determination throughout the tournament, earning a well-deserved second-place finish and silver medals. We are proud of our young athletes for their outstanding performance, sportsmanship, and growth on the pitch.

Year 9 Traditional and Contemporary Dance Performances
Year 9 students explored music and dance traditions from around the world through research and live group performances featuring both traditional and contemporary styles. Performances were evaluated on teamwork, coordination, choreography, rhythmic accuracy, stage presence, creativity, musical interpretation and overall ensemble performance. The showcase highlighted students’ musicianship, cultural appreciation and collaborative skills in a vibrant celebration of global music and dance.

Year 3 Learners During their Library Lesson
Year 3 learners enjoyed engaging reading sessions in the Junior School Library, immersing themselves in a rich collection of fiction and non-fiction texts within a calm and reader-friendly environment.
Through sustained silent reading, guided library activities and book exploration, students continue to strengthen literacy fluency, vocabulary acquisition, comprehension skills, critical thinking and a lifelong reading culture.

Reception S Assembly 'The Meadow’s Big Change'
Learners of Reception S conducted an assembly presentation in conjunction with their IEYC unit, “Moving up, Moving on.” The presentation featured a short skit entitled 'The Meadow’s Big Change', which illustrated various natural life cycles. Additionally, the learners performed musical pieces that emphasized the significance of change.

U15 and Open Tennis Tournament
OAM proudly hosted the CISSA U15 and Open Racquet Sports Tournament, bringing together talented student-athletes from various schools across the region for an exciting showcase of skill, resilience, and sportsmanship on the courts.
The tennis tournament featured thrilling rallies, powerful serves, determined baseline play, and exceptional composure under pressure as players competed at the highest level. Our tennis team delivered remarkable performances across multiple categories, demonstrating dedication, discipline, and competitive spirit throughout the tournament.
Outstanding Results:
• U13 Girls – Arianna Makena Kosgey clinched 1st Position with an impressive performance.
• U15 Boys – Nicholas Kiriira Kiruthi battled through tough matches to secure 2nd Position.
• Open Girls – Kayla Shah dominated the court to emerge in 1st Position.
• Open Boys – Abu Bakr Noorani delivered a championship-winning performance to attain 1st Position.

OAM Hosts U-13 3x3 Basketball Tournament
OAM hosted the CISSA U13 3x3 Basketball Tournament for both boys and girls, bringing together young talent, energy, and competitive spirit on the court.
The tournament featured 8 boys’ teams and 2 girls’ teams, with every squad showing hustle, teamwork, and determination from tip-off to the final buzzer. Our girls’ team battled hard throughout the competition and secured an impressive 2nd place finish.
The boys’ division was equally electrifying, with high-tempo matchups, solid defense, quick transitions, and clutch performances across the board. Our boys fought their way to a well-earned 3rd place finish after a series of highly competitive games.
A huge congratulations to all participating schools, players, coaches, and supporters for making the event a success both on and off the court.
