Most people don’t know this about me…

There was a time when everything looked fine on the outside —
but inside, my mind was loud, restless, and heavy.

I was functioning.
I was showing up.
I was doing “the right things.”

Yet peace felt… postponed.

What most people don’t see is that The Wamae Way didn’t start as a brand, a framework, or a guide.
It started in a moment where I had to decide whether my thoughts would control me — or I would learn to lead them.

That decision didn’t change my life overnight.
It changed my direction.

From chaos to consistency.
From pressure to clarity.
From scattered effort to aligned living.

Over the years — through leadership, service, failure, responsibility, and rebuilding — one truth became impossible to ignore:

Clarity always comes before stability.
Alignment always comes before growth.

I’ve never shared this story fully before.
But I’m about to.

Very soon, I’m releasing a free guide that introduces the mindset and framework that carried me through that journey — and continues to anchor my life today.

It’s not about fixing yourself.
It’s about realigning — from the inside out.

If you’ve ever felt productive but unfulfilled…
disciplined but drained…
consistent but unsettled…

Stay close.

The Wamae Way Starter Guide is coming — and it begins where most transformations actually start.

Mindset Isn’t Motivation — It’s Alignment

Many people wait for life to get easier before they start growing.
They wait for clarity before they move.
They wait for confidence before they act.

But real personal growth often begins in moments of uncertainty.

I’ve walked through seasons where effort didn’t immediately produce results. Where finances were tight, progress felt slow, and the future looked unclear. Not because I wasn’t trying—but because my inner world was still disordered.

What I’ve learned is this:

You don’t change your life by fighting your circumstances.
You change your life by changing how you relate to them.

Mindset is not positive thinking.
It’s alignment—between your thoughts, your values, and your direction.

When alignment happens:
• Struggles become lessons instead of setbacks
• Delays become preparation instead of punishment
• Resistance becomes guidance instead of frustration

The outer world responds to the order you create within.

This weekend, instead of rushing to “fix” everything, pause and observe:
• What is this season teaching you?
• What patterns keep repeating?
• What inner shift is being invited before the outer breakthrough?

Growth is rarely loud.
It’s quiet, intentional, and often uncomfortable.

If this message speaks to you, I invite you to join my Facebook group where we go deeper into mindset, personal growth, and purposeful living—sharing insights, tools, and real conversations for real transformation.

Have a reflective, grounded, and powerful weekend 🌱

💡 Do It Scared 💡
Fear is a natural part of growth. Waiting until you feel ready or fearless means you might never take action. The best way to build confidence is to take the first step—even when you're scared. Successful entrepreneurs, leaders, and changemakers all share one thing: they felt the fear and did it anyway. 💪🔥Whatever dream, business, or goal is on your heart—do it scared. Your future self will thank you!

Believe in small, consistent activities. Over time, little daily habits like reading a few pages, exercising for 10 minutes, or practicing mindfulness contribute to enduring change. Focus on consistency, not perfection.

Yes, this metaphor refers to the sea's tides: whatever is "coming in waves"—a series of challenges, a swarm of attacking adversaries, or whatever—continues to come, with noticeable peaks and troughs, like the waves of an incoming tide.

Waris Dirie is a supermodel, UN ambassador, author, and human rights activist born in Somalia. In her memoir, Desert Flower, she writes about her life as a girl who lived in the desert and shows how hard it was.

Waris Dirie was born in Somalia in 1965. As a woman, she had a tough time, including having her genitalia cut off when she was five years old. She ran through the desert to get to Mogadishu when she was thirteen. There, she worked as a maid for the family.

Her story begins when she meets her uncle, who needs a maid for a government role in London, and he takes her there.
Waris had problems in London because she was alone a lot, had to work long hours, and had to speak English. She was born in Somalia. She quit English class because she didn't like it. When it was time for her uncle to go, she refused to return to Somalia and even hid her passport to keep herself from returning. In the end, her uncle gave up and left her.

Before she became a model, Waris worked as a cleaner at McDonald's. A fashion photographer named Mike Goss found her, and she worked with Terence Donovan and for a brief time with Naomi Campbell.

The fashion photographer Waris moved to New York to further her work. She did work for high-end magazines and walked the catwalks in New York, London, Paris, and Milan. The BBC made a documentary about her work as a model. During the trip, they went to Somalia, where she grew up, and spent time with her mother and siblings. The documentary, called A Nomad in New York, showed how she became a nomad and how her work grew.

Marie Claire talked to Waris, who talked about how her sewn-up genitalia in Somalia caused her unbearable pain and health problems. People in Somalia didn't like her, but she became an ambassador to the UN to fight against female circumcision. In 2002, she started the Desert Flower Foundation and continues to work worldwide. For her charitable work, she has won awards. Waris' story demonstrates the power of determination, courage, and resilience in transforming one's life.
