Having won in 2024 and boasting a rich history of success between 2015 and 2017, the team carried both experience and expectation. However, they faced stiff competition from Chui, who had been in excellent recent form with wins in 2023 and 2025, as well as the ever-dangerous Nyati and determined Simba.
